13 Foods That Are Vegan And Taste Amazing

Veganism, or the practice of only eating/drink things that are plant-based (i.e. do not contain animal products or meat) is becoming super popular. One of the things that stops a lot of people from going vegan, however, is the thought that they’ll only be able to eat vegetables and quinoa. This is 100% not true, so if you’re looking into incorporating more plant-based foods into your diet, then this list is a great way to show yourself that there are so many things. In addition, if you have vegan friends, this list can help you buy things that you know they’ll love and can eat. Here are 13 foods that are vegan and taste amazing.

1. Ciabatta

If you love bread but also want to follow a more plant-based diet. you might be worried about missing out on some seriously tasty things, However, since it is made with olive oil, all ciabatta is vegan, so you can enjoy this delicious crusty bread without worrying.

2. Oreos

If you’re a huge fan of cookies and cream, rest assured that you won;t have to give up the original cookies and cream biscuit. Original Oreos are 100% vegan so you can eat as many as you like whilst still following a plant-based diet.

3. Dried Pasta

Pasta is everyone’s favourite carb, and because most dried pastas aren’t made with eggs, this makes them one of the foods that are vegan. So, you can chow down on a bowl of pasta at least partially guilt free.

4. Chili Heatwave Doritos

Crisps are necessarily something you’d think about in terms of veganism, but some crisp flavourings contain ingredients that are not vegan friendly. Luckily, Chili Heatwave Doritos are not among this number, so you can munch to your heart’s content.

Whilst these do summon the memories of primary school birthday parties, no one can deny how tasty these pastel-coloured goodies are, and they are also vegan. These are a great substitute for other cakes/biscuits that are not vegan, as they are just as tasty.

If you love gummy sweets, you’ll know that the majority of them unfortunately are not vegan as they contain gelatin. However, these tasty sour gummies are vegan so you don’t have to give up the foods you love.

Ritz crackers are perfect for snacking on, and Ritz cracker crisps are held under this banner too, so you have a lot of variety in your snacking choices. These are great substitutes for any other crackers or crisps that you may not be able to have if you pursue a vegan diet.

Cake mixes are actually mostly free from eggs and dairy as you are supposed to add those yourself to the mix, so you can buy them and make them with foods that are vegan instead. If you’re a fan of quick-make cakes then this is perfect for you as it means you can carry on making your favourite sweet treats with just a little substitution.
