6 Fashion Trends To Embrace In 2019

Following the latest fashion trends is the best way to feel confident in your outfits and personal style. If you don’t know where to find the latest trends, then look no further. Have a look below and get ready to feel inspired and expand your fashion comfort zone for 2019.

1. Print Clashing

I know the word ‘clashing’ sounds like a bad thing, but combining bold prints is the best way to create an attention-grabbing outfit. This is one of those fashion trends that can be very hit or miss, so here are a few tips to get you started. Use complimentary colours (colours that are close to each other on the colour wheel) to add harmony to your outfit, or separate the prints with a statement belt. I know it sounds scary, but print clashing can completely revolutionise your style in 2019.

2. Monochrome Colour Palettes

Essentially, monochrome is wearing different shades and tints of the same colour. A perfect way to start with neutral colours is to try out a monochromatic black, white or grey outfit and go from there. If you want to add a little more interest, play with textures and fabrics by combining a pair of black denim jeans with a sleek black leather jacket. Wearing a monochromatic colour palette is an easy way to look chic and sleek.

3. Sharp Suiting

The power suit became popular in 2018 and this trend is not going anywhere. Whether it’s for work or for going out, you’re definitely going to find a power suit that fits your style perfectly. Whether it’s modern or 80’s inspired, minimalist and sleek or bold and patterned; the choices are endless! The best part about a power suit is that you can easily dress it up or down making it incredibly versatile, so you don’t have an excuse not to try it in 2019.

4. Faux Fur

Fur coats are a major fashion trend for 2019 and with faux fur, you can be fashionable and feel guilt free. Whether it’s long or short fur, natural, coloured, or something a little more bold, make your outfit a bit more luxurious with a faux fur coat. Dress it up with a tight dress or down with a pair of jeans, the choice is up to you.

5. Neon

One of the biggest spring/summer trends of 2019 is neon clothing and it is the easiest (and boldest) way to help move you out of your fashion comfort zone. Start with a neon accessory, then step up to a neon graphic tee or a dress, the opportunities are endless! This is one of those fashion trends where you have to ‘go big or go home’, so what have you got to lose? If you’re feeling really ambitious, why not combine a few trends and buy a monochromatic neon power suit?

6. Patterned Blouse

You might want to give that old Hawaiian shirt in the back of your wardrobe a second go when you read about this 2019 fashion trend. When shopping for a patterned blouse, go for prints that catch your eye and make you instantly fall in love. Pair it with neutral pants, or if you’re feeling bold, why not combine trends and clash prints with patterned pants or a patterned skirt? Get creative with it!
