10 Easy On-The-Go Lunch Recipes For Students

Instead of buying lunch at university, it’s so much healthier and cheaper for you to make your own! Save those pennies with our ten easy on-the-go lunch recipes that are perfect for busy students.

1. Tuna wrap

Wraps make a great on the go lunch recipe, they’re super simple to make and easy to eat in between classes. The recipe below uses tuna and crunchy veggies, requiring no cooking at all! You just need to assemble the wrap which takes all of ten minutes.

2. Pesto pasta

Pesto pasta may be the most simple pasta recipe out there! And it makes for a great on the go lunch as you can meal prep your pesto pasta at the start of the week and have everything ready to go. This recipe is quick and easy, using just cherry tomatoes and cheese, but you can add whatever you like – chicken, asparagus, avocado, spinach – it’s up to you!

3. Mason jar salad

Mason jar salads are just as easy to prep as a regular salad, but taking them to university in a jar will fit much better in your bag than usual chunky containers. Remember to put the dressing at the bottom and the greens and soft vegetables at the top so they don’t become soggy.
