Okay, I’ll admit it. Starbucks drinks are my guilty pleasure. Iced caramel macchiato, white chocolate mocha, caramel frappuccino, you name it. However, with my income, I can definitely not afford Starbucks on the daily. Starbucks drinks are a rare treat. That’s why I’ve found 5 of the best DIY Starbucks drinks that are just as tasty as the real thing. You’re welcome my fellow Starbucks lovers.
To make this delicious DIY Starbucks drink you’re going to need milk, caramel sauce, hot chocolate mix, whipped cream, coffee, salt, ice and a cup. Make your coffee first, so it has time to cool down for your iced drink. Take 1 cup of milk and stir in 1-2 heaped tablespoons of the hot chocolate mix. Place this in the microwave for approximately 2 minutes. Stir in 1-2 tablespoons of caramel syrup into your hot chocolate mix and then place the mix in the fridge to cool down for approximately 10 minutes. Fill your cup with ice and pour in your chilled chocolate mix, then take your cold coffee and slowly pour it over the top. Add more caramel sauce and salt. Top your drink off with whipped cream and more caramel sauce, for an Insta-worthy DIY Starbucks drink, and drink up!
All you’re going to need for this refreshing DIY Starbucks drink is some ice, lemonade, green tea, a cup and sugar or sweetener (if you like it sweet). Start off by brewing your green tea, so you can allow it time to cool down. While that’s brewing and cooling, fill your cup with as much ice as you desire. Once your tea has cooled down, pour in equal parts of green tea and lemonade, add sugar or sweetener if you prefer and voila! Your very own DIY Starbucks green tea lemonade. Delish!
For this tasty DIY Starbucks drink you will need ice, a cup, vanilla syrup, milk, espresso or black coffee and caramel syrup. To begin, fill your cup with as much ice as you like. Add 1 tablespoon and a teaspoon of vanilla syrup to your ice. Take 1 cup of milk and add that to your ice and vanilla syrup. Add a shot of espresso, or 1/3 of a cup of black coffee (if you don’t have espresso). Make sure your coffee has had time to cool down. When you pour your coffee into your cup you should get that really cool half and half, gradient effect. Top your iced caramel macchiato off with caramel syrup and you’re done!
For all of this chocolatey goodness, you will need a blender, a cup, ice, chocolate chips, milk, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. To begin, take a cup of ice and toss that into your blender. Add 1/3 of a cup of chocolate chips, 1 and 1/4 cups of milk and 3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup to your blender. Blend all of these ingredients until smooth. Transfer your double chocolate chip frappuccino into your cup. Top your delicious DIY Starbucks drink off with some whipped cream and more chocolate syrup and enjoy!
For this berrylicious DIY Starbucks drink you will need a cup, ice, berry hibiscus tea, sweetener (if your prefer), mixed berries and lemonade. To begin, fill your cup with a cup of ice. Brew your berry hibiscus tea and let it cool down, as this is an iced drink. If you want to add sugar or sweetener, I would add it to your tea whilst it’s still hot, so it dissolves better. Pour in equal parts of tea and lemonade to your cup. Top your DIY Starbucks drink off with some mixed berries and drink up!
