15 Cute Room Décor Ideas for Every Style
It’s hard to get your room to look nice when you’re in your early twenties – especially when you’re still at university (and especially if you’re renting somewhere strick about marks on the wall/any kind of redecoration). Most student rooms will comprise of blu-tacked photos on the walls, some fairy lights, a ‘boho’ wall hanging, and maybe some piles of books in a corner (depending on whether or not the room in question belongs to an English lit student). I’ve compiled a list, here, of some cute room décor ideas that you can easily do in your student house, regardless of your budget – a lot of them are small, too, which is handy for anyone who moves around a lot:
1. Dangling Lamp and Cord
Minimalist alternative to a bedside lamp – just make sure you’re allowed to hang it up!

If you can’t hang up a floor-length mirror, lean it against the wall and just tell people it’s an aesthetic choice.

Rugs are an easy way to decorate a room, and you can usually find pretty cheap ones online. They’re fantastic for cold winter mornings, too.
