10 Cute Outfits For People Who Can't Be Bothered to Put Effort In

We all like to look nice but some of us are willing to put less effort into finding cute outfits than others.

Be it because you’re too busy or just lazy, you want a shortcut to looking nice, right? We all know that denim pretty much acts as the blank canvas for every outfit, but what the best way to dress those denim jeans up?

Here are 10 ideas that take no effort whatsoever!

1. Tied tees

The easiest way to get away with a simple outfit is to tie your t-shirt. This makes your standard graphic tee look cute and summery.

2. Funny tees

Your simple fashion choices can be overlooked when you’re being funny. Funny t-shirts are always the way forward because they speak for themselves. Walking around with a pun on your chest is definitely a good look – not to mention it’s a talking point.

3. Chunky knit jumper

Keep it cosy! If it’s too cold for a basic t-shirt, you’re going to want a basic jumper. It doesn’t matter if they look boring, what’s important is they look warm and cosy! You look cute in a chunky jumper regardless of the colour or pattern. The fit of baggy jumpers doesn’t necessarily look flattering, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look good in them.

4. Demin Jacket

Any outfit can be improved with a denim jacket (unless you’re wearing matching jeans, of course). It’s a basic staple that no wardrobe is complete without. You can be wearing a plain t-shirt and trousers but if you add a denim jacket, it looks like you put effort into your outfit.

5. Check shirt

Likewise, the check shirt. These are super basic but, with so many to choose from, they can also be very personal and you can wear what suits you. Unbuttoned over a plain top or buttoned up, this is a cute look. A patterned shirt will make your basic clothes underneath look less basic.

6. Denim skirt

Denim skirts are cute and you should definitely use them to make a lazy outfit into a cute outfit. Wear the same top as if you were in jeans but substitute the skirt in to make yourself look cuter and put together! With so many different shades and lengths of denim skirts, this look can be smart, casual or smart-casual.

8. Let your trousers do the talking

Coloured trousers mean that you can get away with wearing a basic shirt and still look like you put some effort in. It may take a while for you to build up the courage to wear colourful trousers if you’re not used to making a statement, so maybe start small. Try some olive green ones instead of going straight to bright red.
