The skincare world is all about glowing skin now. Using the right products can really help your skin glow and look healthy. The first step is to find out whether your skin is dry, oily or combination. Understanding your skin and what it needs is important because then you can give it what it needs! You will be able to control the oil or the dry flakey skin too. These 10 amazing skincare brands for glowing skin are a bit different. These are cruelty free skincare brands for those gals who despise chemicals in their products and care about the animals!
Elemis is a luxury British skincare brand specialising in creating their formulas from nature. The plant-based botanicals are consumer tested. The anti-oxidants and minerals preserved in their formulas will give you the amazing results that you seek! I do recommend the Superfood Facial oil as a night serum as it is lightweight and deeply hydrating.
All the celebrities rave about the NONI Glow Face Oil by KORA Organics, and that’s how I discovered this cruelty free brand! It is a rich and powerful face oil for glowing skin that will nourish and brighten your it. This brand was created by Miranda Kerr and all the products and their ingredients are certified organic and ethically produced.
ila is another natural and organic brand that I love! They not only offer natural products sourced to hydrate and nourish the skin but also treatments at their spas. I really love all their products so I can’t pick, especially those for dry skin!
Korres is a Greek brand which you can now find even on Marks & Spencer! The products are inspired by the Greek culture, and their philosophy is about using natural and/or certified organic ingredients. All their products, even though are natural and cruelty free, are still affordable. My recommendation is to try the Olympus Tea Cleansing Foaming Cream; it’s such a gentle cleanser.
This is another one of these cruelty free skincare brands that I absolutely LOVE ! Their body lotions are sooo good! I always recommend them! Right now I’m using the Geranium and Orange Body lotion (because I have a weird obsession with orange) and I love it. I always get their body lotions because they don’t have a strong powerful smell on the skin – I don’t like it when I’m using a shower jel and a body lotion with two different smells because then they get mixed up on my skin – and actually they get absorbed really quickly! Who wants to feel oily after using a body cream? Not me.
The Body Shop is a classic affordable option. You can find a shop anywhere around London and you know that their ingredients and products are ethically sourced, produced and nourishing for your skin. They have so many ranges to choose from that sometimes you feel overwhelmed! But you can always ask at the shop for help, or if you’ve done your research, you would know that each range is for a certain skin type. I have so many recommendations from this shop as I always buy from them but by far my favourite product is the Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil. It’s perfect for all skin types – dry to oily – and it makes your skin glow the next morning!
If you’re looking for shower gels, shampoos and conditioners, and generally cleansers to gently get rid of dirt while still maintaing hydration then I strongly recommend Weleda. Their products are so gentle, cruelty free and natural that they do help bring out your natural glow. Their products are mostly plant-based from organic or bio-dynamic farming, as well as certified wild collection.
This is the perfect brand for sensitive skin. All their products are free from Parabens, Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Petrochemicals, Detergents (SLS/SLES) and artificial fragrance. Instead, they use high quality organic ingredients to sooth and maintain the balance of the skin, packaging their products in recyclable or biodegradable packaging. From this cruelty free brand, I love their Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil as it is rich in Omegas which help regenerate the skin without any irritation, while boosting my skin and rejuvenating it.
This skincare brand can be found at Boots and it is an affordable yet effective product range. It’s plant based without any chemicals. I always buy their moisturisers because they are light and not heavy on my skin, and they get absorbed quickly! I also LOVE their rosewater from their organic range. It’s so refreshing and calms any redness or irritated skin!
Susie Ma’s passion for ethical and natural beauty recipes and her appearance in BBC’s The Apprentice, led in this business to grow. All the products are cruelty free and the ingredients are pure without any chemicals. I do recommend their Night Repair cell renewal concentrate as it is light and moisturising for a night cream, and their Smoothing Cleanser complexion purifier because it does purify your skin from any dirt or makeup!
