Before beginning your contour routine use a matte highlighter to brighten areas you want to conceal, which will be different for everyone, although usually you should highlight under eyes, nose, forehead and chin. Morphe’s Define Me Highlighter pencil is great for mapping out the contour and enhancing the features before contouring.

Step 3: Staying Symmetrical

If you wish to do this then you simply draw two  symmetrical lines down each side of your nose. The NYX Professional Makeup Wonder stick is great for creating this look, and is much more accessible and affordable.

Step 4: The 3-Shape

Use a darker contour to highlight cheekbones and edges of the face using Kim Kardashian’s method of the 3-shape with the starting point at the forehead and drawing a 3 down the cheekbones and along jawline on each side of the face. You can use the darker colour on the NYX Professional Makeup Wonder Stick to create this look easily, as well as making more room in your makeup bag.
