The 5 Best Places To Study In London And Actually Get Work Done

Finding a convenient place to conduct your studies is not an easy task. You want the right balance of noise to silence. It can be hard to study in the family home because there either isn’t a designated room to study or there is just always something going on so it really isn’t a convenient place to study. There are several places in London which are open to the public to use as work-related or student-related spaces, and we know the. Here are the best places to study in London!

The Southbank Centre

The Southbank centre has open space to the public both inside and out. Due to it being right opposite the Thames, there is a great view to be had whilst you’re studying and getting work done. There is free wifi and also a library available on the site as well.

The BFI Reuben Library

This library is also located on south-bank. The BFI are the British Film Institution well-known for their film festivals, sophisticated cinema and contribution to film. The Reuben library is free, all you need to do is fill in a registration card upon arrival in order to access the study space provided. When you want to take a break from studying you can enjoy the various resources on film and it’s history.

The British Library

The British library has beautifully bright space which is great for studying in. Free wifi and great seating and desks. It may seem like one of the more obvious choices being well-known but this place is a gem and should be utilised.

The Workers Cafe

Based in the east of London in Hackney, the Workers cafe is a great little spot to make connections and get work done. Quite an intimate little cafe which is specifically designed for people to study or get any work that they have done. This little spot however comes with a membership fee, it’s £10 for a day or you can sign up to a monthly or yearly subscription.

The Barbican Centre

You cannot go wrong with the Barbican, a peaceful place to study with great views for when you want to take a break from your studying and gather your thoughts. Alongside having a on site library and restaurants for when you get hungry and need a bite to eat. The Barbican is a students dream with great wifi and lots of plug sockets for when you need to charge a device.
