This game is great for large groups and sure to be a total hit. Suitable for 4-8 players, this game involves splitting up into two teams and guessing words in order to make contact with other agents on your team. A spymaster feeds players clues in order to guess their own words, and they have to avoid guessing the other team’s words.

One of our best board games is scrawl. This game is for adults only, as it gets funnier the dirtier your guesses are. Combining Chinese Whispers with Pictionary, you take turns drawing and guessing each other’s drawings for a hilarious game where things are sure to go horribly wrong.

Cards Against Humanity has turned into a millennial favourite and with good reason. You can split into teams of two or even bigger teams if need be. All you do is make your way from start to finish by describing as many objects, places, animals etc for your friends to guess in a set amount of time.

You might’ve seen this game all over YouTube — it’s absolutely hilarious. This is a simple guessing game made extremely funny with the use of mouth guards. If you want to cry out of laughter, then this is the game for you!

This is a guessing game for those who enjoy logic or lateral thinking puzzles. Take turns with your friends to guess a word through its associated objects and icons. This one involves a little bit more thinking than our other best board games. Yet concept can still make for a great night in.
