Living in London can sometime feel like a lonely place, so it is important to have that one best friend that you can spend your free time with. What better way to have a super cute BFF date than in one of London’s many great bars! Here are the 10 best bars in London to go to with your BFFs!

1. R O X Y

Located just off of Oxford Street, this basement level bar is a great spot to go and really enjoy a wide range of alternative music; depending upon the night it varies. They also offer some great happy hour deals (Monday – Friday, 5pm – 8.30pm) with half price cocktail pitchers, 2 for 1 on selected beers, half price wine and prosecco bottles; making it a great budget place to catch up with your BFF.

 

2. Waxy O’Connor’s

Located in London’s China Town, this Irish themed bar is full of nook and cranny spots which are perfect for a private conversation between you and your BFF. The wood inspired interior, including a full tree inside the venue, also creates some great opportunities for Instagram photos. There are two bars, so you’ll never wait long for drinks! The mix of the intimate areas and friendly atmosphere makes this the perfect location for any BFF date.

 

3. Gabeto

Formally known as The Cuban and located in Camden Market, Gebeto offers a downstairs bar in addition to a modern terrace which opens up onto the streets of Camden Town. This modern bar restaurant has a great collection of cocktails with a twist on the classics. Although the drinks are a little pricey, the atmosphere makes up for it. This is the perfect location for sitting on the terrace and reminiscing with your BFF on a warm summer night.

 

4. Cat + Mutton

Located in the vibrant area of South Hackney, the Cat + Mutton is a traditional feeling pub with a trendy twist. The pub boasts a great selection of craft beers and cocktails, which are only £6 on ‘Live Monday’s’, alongside performances of live Jazz and Blues artists. The cosy atmosphere is perfect for a cold winters night where you want to sit and catch up on the day’s events with your BFF.

 

5. The Bletchley

Located on Kings Road in Chelsea, The Bletchley offers the perfect combination of escape room and cocktail bar. Drawing inspiration from the codebreakers of WW2, this fun theme bar offers you the ciphered recipe for your drink for you to decode, creating an interesting night with a twist on the standard drinking spot. This exciting evening is perfect for trying something different with your BFF.

6. Players Bar

Located next to Charing Cross Station, and part of Charing Cross Theatre, Players Bar is the perfect late-night spot for any music fan. The bar, which doesn’t open until 11pm, offers open mic policy and great mashups via a live pianist/ singer. This is the perfect location for any BFFs who have spent the night on the town, but just aren’t ready to call it a night yet.

 

7. Joe’s Southern Table Bar and Grill

Located in Covent Garden, this downstairs cocktail baby bar is a great location for sitting and enjoying some music. They offer happy hour specials on weekdays, and a tasty selection of signature drinks. With comfortable seating and darker lighting this is the perfect place to sit and have a private conversation for your BFF.

Open day and night, this is a great location to visit with your BFF to marvel at the city you live in.
