So, you need to make sure that you avoid using products with synthetic fragrances, artificial dyes and ingredients which can be harmful and dry out the skin. 8oz Baking Soda

4oz Citric Acid

4oz Corn Starch

4oz Epsom Salt

2 tbsps. Coconut Oil

2 tbsps. Water (or Witch Hazel) add more if necessary

1 tsp Dried Herbs such as ginger or cinnamon (optional)

Method:

  1. Combine baking soda, Epsom salt, citric acid and corn starch into a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl combine coconut oil and witch hazel together.
  3. Gradually add liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients using your hands and add dried herbs.
  4. Add more witch hazel or water if the mixture doesn’t hold together without crumbling.
  5. Place mixture into moulds or use a greased muffin tin and leave for 24hrs to harden.
  6. When dry remove and store in an air tight container or bag. Use within 2 weeks.
