Never having lived in a university town, I didn’t know what to expect. I had only seen one city prior on an open tour day. Little did I know, this guide had shown me all my soon-to-be regular spots. I didn’t know the looming trees and rustling leaves would comfort me on my usual walks home.

I loved our time together; the memories of being holed up in restaurants with friends while complaining about assignments and talking about boys on park benches.
