Being cooped up at home for the unforeseeable future due to the coronavirus give us more free time to watch and catch up on our favorite TV Shows and Movies on Netflix. While there are some very good TV Shows and Movies on the streaming service, not all of everyone’s favorite programs are on Netflix. Some were previously available on Netflix, but were taken off sometime later.

Please note that this article consists of TV Shows that are currently not on Netflix or were previously on the streaming service before they were taken off. Also, original TV Shows from other streaming services such as Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu, to name a few, will not be included in the article either.

Now, with all of the being said, listed below are 10 TV Shows That Need To Added on Netflix ASAP:

1. Friends:

One of the greatest TV Shows of all time, Friends revolves around six friends in their 20s and 30s who live in New York City. The show made its’ stars Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer all household names.

Friends was on Netflix for a long period of time and fans were devastated when it was removed in January 2020. The reason for the show’s removal from Netflix was due to losing a bidding war to WarnerMedia. The beloved sitcom will be available in Spring 2020 on WarnerMedia’s new streaming service, HBO Max.

2. Drake & Josh:

One of the most popular TV Shows for many current young adults was the Nickelodeon Sitcom Drake & Josh. Starring Drake Bell and Josh Peck as the titular characters, the sitcom follows the lives of Drake Parker and Josh Nichols, who become stepbrothers and live together after Drake’s mother and Josh’s dad marry.

The two new step-brothers have opposite personalities: Drake is a popular musician who doesn’t do well in school while Josh, who trouble with his social life and dating, is a well-read student loved by the teachers. The show follows Drake and Josh often getting involved in comedic escapades and challenges while also handling a variety of teenage problems.

3. Recess:

The animated series follows six friends in elementary school and their interactions with the rest of their classmates and teachers. During recess, the six main characters and the other children form their own society, that features a government and a class structure.

4. One Tree Hill:

The drama lasted nine seasons and was one of the most popular TV Shows amongst teens and young adults. Set in the fictional town of Tree Hill in North Carolina, the series initially follows the lives of two half-brothers, Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan Scott (James Lafferty). Both Lucas and Nathan share the same father Dan Scott (Paul Johansson), who left his high school sweetheart Karen (Moira Kelly), Lucas’s mom, for Nathan’s mom Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods). The show’s first season features the half-brothers competing for positions on their school’s basketball team, and the drama that ensues from the brothers’ romances.

Seasons 1-4 of One Tree Hill covers the main characters’ lives through their high school years. Season 5-9 cover the main characters’ lives through their adults years with a few time jumps in the show’s timeline. Like some of the other TV Shows featured in this article, One Tree Hill was on Netflix for a period of time, but was taken off the streaming service on October 1st, 2017.

5. Lost:

The series is amongst one of the greatest TV Shows of all time for its cast and amazing storylines. Throughout the show’s entire run, it received 54 Primetime Emmy Award Nominations, winning 11 of them. Four of Lost’s 11 Primetime Emmy wins alone were for the show’s pilot episode.

Like some of the TV Shows featured in this article, Lost was available for subscribers to watch on Netflix for a while before it was removed. All episodes of the show are currently available on Hulu for those who have a subscription to that streaming service.

6. Friday Night Lights:

The NBC Sports drama lasted five seasons and is inspired by the 1990 nonfiction book of the same name and the 2004 film of the same name. Friday Night Lights follows a high school football team in the fictional town of Dillon, a small and close-knit community in rural Texas. The show was hit with many fans and produced the iconic phrase “Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose!”

7. Zoey 101:

Another one of our favorite TV Shows growing up includes Zoey 101. The Nickelodeon Teen Show focuses on the lives of Zoey Brooks (Jamie Lynn Spears), her younger brother Dustin (Paul Butcher), and her friends as they attend Pacific Coast Academy (PCA), an elite boarding school in Southern California.

The show lasted four seasons and when the show abruptly ended in May 2008, fans speculated it was “cancelled” due to Spears’ pregnancy (she was 16-years-old at the time). However, Spears denied the rumors that her pregnancy had anything to do with Zoey 101 ending in an Instagram post in January 2019. A cast reunion in July 2019 had many fans speculating that a Zoey 101 Reboot was in the works.

8. Revenge:

Revenge follows a young woman named Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) who returns to the Hamptons with one firm goal: to get revenge on everyone responsible for sending her father to prison. Emily’s real name is Amanda Clarke and when she was a young girl, her father David Clarke (James Tupper) was sent to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. She was permanently separated from him and never saw him again.

The top of Emily/Amanda’s revenge list is Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe), the matriarch of the Grayson family (the wealthiest family of The Hamptons), who loved and betrayed Amanda’s father. Throughout the series, Emily’s quest for revenge has led to the falls and deaths of several characters. The further Emily goes on her quest for revenge has lead her emotions getting involved more as she questions her motives and each move she makes.

Although the ABC Drama ran for only four seasons, Revenge is one of the most underrated TV Shows of all time and a show that people should consider binge watching next.

9. Full House:

The sitcom’s sequel series Fuller House (a Netflix Original Series) is available for subscribers to watch on Netflix. However, the original series isn’t. It would be quite nice for Netflix to add Full House onto its list of TV Shows.

10. Hannah Montana:

Miley Cyrus’s and Emily Osment’s reunion on Cyrus’s Instagram Live Show Bright Minded: Live With Miley, sent fans back to their childhood as they talked about their memories from their Hannah Montana days. Their reunion made me want to binge watch Hannah Montana ASAP!
