Your bedroom is your most personal space – it’s where you sleep, get dressed, and spend a good portion of your day. If you’re anything like me, you have a hard time keeping it clean. I have so much stuff that it’s hard to keep track of it all and put it in a place where I’ll remember it. So here are a few bedroom organization hacks for optimizing your space!
Remember the space under your bed! Most often it becomes a dumping ground for the random stuff that has nowhere else to go. What if you made it into something useful? Invest in a set of drawers and store your winter clothes and shoes down there instead of the bottom of your closet!
Find some unique floating shelves! All those random trinkets you have laying around need a space of their own. This way they’ll be decoration instead of clutter!
Instead of leaving your necklaces to get tangled up on your dresser, hang them on your walls. Easy access and a super cute décor item all in one!
If you have space on your headboard, utilize it! Put your lamp up there, your alarm clock, some photos. That way you free up space on your nightstand, or you can get rid of it altogether!
You probably have a headboard, but what about a footboard? Old textbooks, diaries, books that don’t fit on your bookshelf can all fit in the space against your bed.
Everyone raves about vacuum sealed bags for saving storage space, but why not try rearranging your closet first? Move the rail down a few inches and add a shelf up above your clothes. Your shirts don’t need all that space below, and you’ll have extra space for your storage!
If you have a bookshelf in your room, consider switching to a revolving bookcase! It can go in the corner and fit more books and knickknacks on there without taking up the same to display all of them at the same time!
