Hotels
Where you stay can make or break the trip. Sleep is important, so make that a priority. Clean rooms, big beds, a gym, room service, you need it all. I’ve put together a few of the best hotels to book in Boston. Enjoy your stay!
Located at 70 Rowes Wharf, the Boston Harbor Hotel is a five star, extravagant hotel. With two restaurants, an indoor pool, spa, and cocktail bar, you won’t even have to leave the building to have an amazing vacation. Choose between a large variety of rooms or suites, and get the best of both worlds by picking between waking up to either a city skyline or waterfront view.
50 Park Plaza is home to the amazing Boston Park Plaza. This hotel offers so many amazing amenities, you won’t be able to resist. With access to Lynx Fitness, a 20,000-foot fitness club full of workout classes and Topgolf Swing Suite, this hotel is perfect for any workout junkie. With multiple restaurants, room service, and a Starbucks, your stomach will thank you for staying here.
Stay at 1 Broadway for all your casino needs. The Encore Boston Harbor’s full casino is breathtaking. 40-foot ceilings, beautiful chandeliers and state-of-the-art slot machines, there’s no way your missing this. Between slots, 166 different table games, and poker you’ll never be bored. Don’t forget about the spa, salon, and fitness center. You’d be crazy not to stay here.
Restaurants
Boston is home to some of the best food in the country. When in Boston, you have to eat as much Italian food and seafood as possible. Other cities just can’t compare to the food this city has to offer.
Love Italian food? This is the place for you. You can’t go to Boston and not eat here. Mezzi Rigatoni, Clam Risotto, Risotto alla Pitocca, this menu is unbelievable. It’s definitely on the pricier side but beyond worth it. Head over to 569 Columbus Ave to see everything SRV has to offer your tastebuds.
Seafood is a personal favorite of mine. If you’ve never been to Row 34, what are you waiting for? Let me name a few of my favorites, and sorry if the list gets long. Spicy Lobster Tacos, Sweet Corn Soup, Seared Tuna Salad, Warm Buttered Lobster Roll, and Griddled Crab Cake. Need I say more?
Like the website says, “The North End is Filled With Italian Restaurants, but This One is Different From The Rest.” Once home to Paul Revere, Mamma Maria sits on a hilltop overlooking the streets of Boston. With a daily changing dinner menu, there’s always something new to try here. I highly recommend the swordfish or tuna tartare, but like I said, seafood is a personal favorite of mine.
Spas
You’re on vacation so relax! Everyone needs time for a relaxing day all to themselves after the hustle and bustle of being in the middle of a city. Massages, facials, you need it all.
Rated five stars by Forbes, a day of your trip must be devoted here. With the option of a couples suite, you won’t even have to leave your special someone, just come together! What’s not to love about a 16,000 square-foot spa equipped with personal showers, crystal steam rooms, vitality pool, and relaxation couches? This spa does facials, massages, therapies and so much more.
Get the best of both worlds with this spa and salon all in one. Located on 33 Exeter Street, there’s nothing this place can’t do. The spa offers massages, body treatments, facials, sunless tanning, nails and so much more. On the other hand, the salon offers hair cuts, styling, coloring, makeup and more. This is the perfect place to stop before a fancy dinner or night out on the town. You’ll leave looking and feeling your absolute best!
The best thing about this spa is the scrubs. You can’t go here without getting the glow body scrub, or the glow body scrub with a massage. Other options are nails, waxing, facials, massages, or acu-healing. Acu-healing relieves stress and anxiety and is extremely beneficial to your body. The best part is this therapy is customizable!
