10 Ways To Look Chic And Be Comfortable With Travel Outfits For Fall

Never sure of what to pack for a vacation that is both chic and comfortable? Welcome to the club, we are happy to have you! Packing chic and comfortable clothing is a hard thing to accomplish. So here are 10 ways to look chic and be comfortable with these travel outfits for fall.

1. Scarves and Turbans

Scarves change every look, keep you warm, are a  great all-around accessory, can be hung on a bag, is easy to pack, takes no space, and always adds a luxurious element to every outfit. Turbans give you instant glam and add a pop of fun to any occasion, dressy or casual. Both of these add a lot to an outfit and have the benefit of being light, airy and comfortable. Good investments!

2. Red Lipstick

Traveling can be taxing on you and your face; adding a pop of color and vibrancy with a  red lip immediately refreshes your travel look, taking you from weary to wow in no time! Plus, this is something that every woman should have in her purse at all times. Red lips are classy and beautiful, and you will turn heads at the airport.

3. Sunglasses and Statement Jewelry

Both of these accessories are super easy ways to change and add to your look while traveling the globe. Stand-out bracelets, rings and necklaces transport Old World glamour into your carry-on. And sunglasses just add a chic quality to any outfit they’re paired with.

4. Perfume

This is not something you see but is just as important to pack. Every woman should have a signature scent. And traveling with a signature scent will add a sense of the familiar when you are in a foreign country, or even just a couple of states away from home. It will also cover up any BO that occurs naturally when traveling. Perfume for the win!

5. Dark Wash Jeans or Cigarette Pants

Jeans. They are the best. And they come in so many variations. For chic and comfortable traveling style get yourself some dark wash jeans. They will elevate your outfit, but will also be relatively comfortable on the plane. If you’re not into denim, that’s ok. There is an option for y’all as well, and it’s not yoga pants. But the next best thing: cigarette pants. They usually look like really thick leggings and are therefore stretchy. And bonus points, they are usually high-waisted as well (which, if you are like me, is an awesome feature).

A nice break from the dad sneakers and the “Jesus-sandals” that are seen everywhere these days. Again these are a multi-purpose tool in the utility belt of traveling fashion. They can be worn with basically everything from ripped jeans with a t-shirt to your Sunday best. Ballet flats save the day every day.

A variant of the dress, but it allows for more chic outfit choices. And can be worn with t-shirts and blouses, flats, heels and sneakers, and so many other things. The key to dressing chic and being comfortable is the ability to be able to dress up and dress down all of the components that you take.
