Top 10 Tampa Area Hotels Tourists Will Fall in Love With

Tampa area hotels are gorgeous and add so much to the Floridian experience. It is important to know the best ones for the best trip. Below I listed my top ten Tampa Area Hotels tourists will love.

1. Tampa Airport Marriott

This might sound weird adding a hotel in this location. But trust me, I did not put this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. It also provided many more great things to experience!

The Tampa Airport is actually not like many airports. It is sandwiched between Downtown Tampa and St. Petersburg. Offering great options to go to. The hotel itself also sits next to Tampa Bay. A massive lagoon that separates Tampa and the Pinellas peninsula. So if you want to access the beaches, simply head to the peninsula. If you want to go to Busch Gardens, head over to the East in the Main Tampa area.

The hotel itself offers great amenities. A pool with an awesome view of the Bay. The beds are extremely comfortable. And there are multiple award-winning restaurants inside and super close to the hotel that guests can enjoy.

2. Hyatt Place Busch Gardens

Since I mentioned Busch Gardens before, this hotel is a perfect place for those who are dedicated to going to the theme park. I often find Busch Gardens to be a little far away from everything else in Tampa. This is why I think people might not want to drive so far to Busch Gardens. This Hyatt Place offers the perfect opportunity to visit this entertaining theme park.

Since this is a suite-oriented hotel, it will be perfect for large families. Theme parks are usually full of big families, so a place like this Hyatt will make a great addition! There are usually more than two beds, a kitchenette, a refrigerator, and more expansive amenities. The best part is that these rooms are usually affordable. Averaging around 120 dollars depending on the season.

3. Floridan Palace Hotel

I find the Floridan Palace Hotel one of the most iconic hotels in all of Florida. After all, it is named after Florida. Despite the weird spelling. Most people when driving around Downtown Tampa will notice the Hotel right away. And that is because a massive sign sits on top of the Hotel. The building is also historic. Being built in the early 1900s. The hotel also reminds me of a Hotel in New York. It has the same design and sign on top of the building.

This Tampa Area Hotel sits in the heart of Downtown Tampa. Winning the location points for those who want to stay at the center of everything. The amenities are awesome, and the decor will make you feel like you are entering a historic Palace. Which it is!

4. The Don Cesar

The DonCesar is an award-winning resort that sits at the St Petersburg oceanfront. So this hotel immediately wins the swimming points. Saint Petersburg is known to have one of the best beaches on the gulf coast. Providing gorgeous ocean views and a sunset over the sea. Guests who stay at this hotel will be able to watch the sun go down the ocean. Right from their rooms.

The hotel itself is also incredible. Tourists will be able to swim in their awesome seaside pool. Giving them another option outside the beach. The hotel’s outdoor decor is also unforgettable. Just like the Floridan, Don Cesar gives out a unique/historic scene. Standing out from the other hotels next door.

5. The Ponce De Leon Hotel

Sitting at the heart of Downtown St. Pete, this Tampa area hotel will charm you. This gorgeous boutique-like lodge will instantly blend in with the Arts District. An area of St. Pete that many people should visit. The name of this Hotel is beautiful too. Like, would not like to be called Ponce de Leon?

Downtown St Petersburg is a gorgeous place! During the winter, it becomes a wonderland. The trees become decorated with luminescent snow. Ornaments will dress the lamps, and Santa will do a meet and greet nearby. Again, this Hotel wins location points. You get to sleep at one of the most charming corners in the Tampa Bay Area. The pricing is also not that bad!

6. Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa Bay

The Seminole Hard Rocks do not mess around when it comes to playing. It houses the biggest casino in all of Central Florida. I will never forget entering this area and being shocked by how big it was. There are thousands of people using cash machines, playing poker, and doing other gambling activities. There are also tons of bars people can enjoy. And I am not kidding. There is a bar on every corner.

The lodging part of the hotel is super premier. I took a look at each room online and figured that these suites (and even guest rooms) are made for celebrities. The pool was luxurious too!

The only setback, in my opinion, is the location. The hotel sits a little far from the Top Tampa attractions. So if you are planning on staying at this hotel as its own attraction, you have come to the right place. There are plenty of things to do in this massive building anyways!

7. Epicurean Hotel

This Tampa Bay Hotel is a scene to be seen. Like the other boutique-like hotels I mentioned, the Epicurean presents that energy as well. The decor of this wonderful hotel is super hip. There is modern artwork everywhere in this hotel. The rooms are also super pretty and artistic.

The hotel sits very close to the Downtown Tampa Area. Providing a great and short ride to downtown as well as the bay to get to St. Petersburg.

8. Hotel Haya

Yet another cool and hip place joins the list. Hotel Haya also offers wonderful art portraits around the lobby, walkways, and even your bedroom. The overall look of this hotel is also very rustic. Reminding me of the modern hostels I have visited in California.

The Hotel sits in Ybor City. A super artistic district East of Downtown Tampa. Ybor is a must-do when visiting this area. You would understand why once you become shook by how gorgeous and extra this district is. I love this place so much!

9. Hampton Inn And Suites Ybor City

Of course, I am not ready to say goodbye to Ybor City. But I do like to offer another option for people who would like to stay near this area.

The Hampton Inn and Suites is a more affordable alternative to the other Hotel in Ybor. It is also a mainstream brand that most people will recognize. So if you become intimidated by the extreme decor of the Haya, the Hampton will give you more comfort.

10. Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach

This hotel is as grand as it claims to be! Sitting right in front of the Gulf of Mexico, guests will definitely get the best beaching experiences!

Clearwater Beach is also another top-tier beachfront. The gorgeous views and the gentle tides of the Gulf will make you relax and unwind. You are also staying with one of the most reputable Hotel Brands ever. Winning multiple awards, this specific hotel will guarantee the best time ever!
