Its 2:00 am, and the late night munchies hit you hard. Your tummy rumbles, yet your room has barely a morsel. Here are some non-ESU restaurants that are nearby for you to order from so you can chow down!

1. Domino’s Pizza

Domino’s is open until 2 am on weekdays and 3 am on weekends. I know because I worked there. You have several tasty options, from pizza and wings to sandwiches and pasta, and it’s only 5 minutes away. However, please be considerate of the employees and order at least a half an hour before closing because it takes forever to clean up and close. And, ALWAYS TIP YOUR DRIVER!

2. Cluck-U

Cluck-U seriously has the best chicken ever. And, on Fridays and Saturdays they are open until 3:00 am (delivery until 2:30 am). With chicken coming in every form, size, and shape, you can definitely find something to satisfy your craving. And, if you are a brave soul, try some of the spicier sauces!

3. Wawa

Of course, I would include the holy grail of convenience stores on this list. From hoagies to quesadillas, Wawa is your go-to destination for late night eatery. It is open for 24 hours and is walking distance from campus. However, the one downside is that there is no delivery option, so find a mobile Warrior and pile in, clown car style. I promise, it will be worth it.

4. Philly Steaks

Located on Main Street, this little gem is an awesome option for a late night snack, especially on the weekends. They are open until 3:00 am Thursday to Saturday, just in time for nights out on the town.

5. McDonald’s

The Mickey D’s in Stroudsburg is open 24 hours in their drive-thru, which is seriously just amazing some nights. They are even open 24 hours inside on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (according to their website). Head on over when you have a hankering for fries.

6. Giant Food Stores

While this option is a bit of a drive down to 611, it is still a great place to get some healthy meals (or snacks). They have a lot of prepared options for you, or you can opt for microwavable foods and stock up for your dorm room.

7. Trackside

I absolutely adore this place. The food is great, the atmosphere is amazing, and it’s a brief trip from campus. There is a different promotion every day, so it is also affordable for broke college kids. I love the Wednesday wing specials personally. They are open until 2:00 am, according to Google.

8. Sarah Street Bar & Grill

While a little bit more expensive, Sarah Street Grill is East Stroudsburg’s worst kept secret. The food is amazing, the menu vast, and they serve sushi! Definitely try this place out at least once, and try the free pickled veggies they serve instead of bread. They too are open until 2:00 AM.

9. Wendy’s

Wendy’s on N. Courtland is open until 2 am, and the one on N. 9th Street is open until 1 am. Of course, Wendy’s is another great option for fast food.  I’d even choose it over McDonalds, simply for their chili and baked potato.

10. Late Nite

Of course, you can just settle for ESU’s very own Late Nite eats.  I definitely recommend the buffalo chicken cheese steak (or pizza) and the cheesecake for dessert. Oh, and the mac and cheese bites are a must have too!  I put this last because it is the most obvious choice, but it can get old after a while. If it does, you have plenty of other options to choose from around ESU.
