Top 10 Disney World Restaurants Guests Have to Check Out
There are hundreds of Disney World Restaurants Mickey Mouse has to offer. Many of them are incredible and delicious in their own way. Below I listed my top 10 Disney World restaurants that will guarantee a magical time!
1. Steakhouse 71 (Disney’s Contemporary Resort)
Previously known as the Wave of American Flavors, this new restaurant offers some of the best American Casual Fare. For Breakfast, you can feast on Seasonal Fruit Pancakes, Walt’s Prime Rib Hash (an actual Walt Disney favorite), Floridian Eggs Benedict, and other delicious dishes. For lunch and dinner, you can order the finest cuts of steaks, vegetable wellington, sustainable fish, etc.
I would say that this steakhouse is perfect for parties craving their favorite meats. It’s also perfect for anyone who wants a casual dining experience that is not too basic or luxurious. It is a smack dab in the middle.
2. Sebastian’s Bistro (Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort)
Sebastian’s Bistro is a family-style table service restaurant that offers Caribbean fare. For each family-style admission, guests get to enjoy the Taste of the Caribbean Platter. The platter includes mojo pork, grilled flank steak, cilantro rice and beans, pull-apart bread, and pineapple bread pudding. All extremely delicious offerings. There’s even a plant-based version with impossible kabob, fried jerk tofu, and vegan versions of the pull-apart bread and bread pudding.
This is one of the Disney World Restaurants that are perfect for people who want to taste something different. With the help of the amazing Islandic atmosphere, the food will transport you to the Caribbean.
3. Olivia’s Cafe (Disney’s Old Key West Resort)
As a veteran of visiting Key West, Olivia’s Cafe nails it when it comes to recreating a classic Key Restaurant. The inside decor resembles that classic Floridian seaside casual food place. There are multiple pictures of people fishing, nick-nacks from the beach, and lots of fish taxidermy.
The food itself is incredible. You can feast on crab cakes, conch fritters, Cuban sandwiches, and seasonal Catch of the Days. This restaurant is also home to some of the best desserts I ever had. The Banana Bread pudding Sundae. Words cannot even describe how delicious this was. If you stop by Olivia’s you gotta try this dessert!
4. Kona Cafe (Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort)
Continuing the Island theme, Kona Cafe would transport you to the Polynesian Islands. This is one of my personal favorite restaurants. And the reason behind it is because of their breakfast specialty: the Tonga Toast.
Tonga Toast is half a bread loaf stuffed with mashed banana inside. The loaf is then deep-fried and coated in brown sugar. It is served with maple syrup and a strawberry compote. It is served french toast style and it’s incredible!
The restaurant also offers macadamia nut pancakes, classic breakfast favorites. And for lunch and dinner: sushi, Asian platters, and Island specialties such as meat skewers and Kona Braised short rib.
5. Whispering Canyon Cafe (Disney’s Wilderness Lodge)
Whispering Canyon Cafe is a family-style restaurant inside a Western Themed Resort. It takes place next to the lobby of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. One of Disney’s best-themed resorts. The place truly transports you to a ski resort somewhere in Oregon. It is truly one of the best sights I have ever seen on Mickey’s property.
The Cafe offers unlimited smoked meats, roasted potatoes, and greens. The meats include pork, beef, chicken skewers. There are also plant-based versions available that are just as delicious. They include beefless tips, “chicken” skewers, and barbecued jackfruit.
6. Tiffin’s (Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
If you want to go on a Safari with Africa’s finest flavors, Tiffin’s will take you on that journey. Just like the actual African Safari’s, this restaurant will give you a very luxurious experience. So expect to have a more high-end experience with fancy prices.
You can find unique dishes such as Charred Octopus, spiced chickpea falafel, North African spiced tofu, Tamarind braised short rib, and Gobi Manchurian. I heard that the Charred Octopus was to die for! For dessert, you can indulge in passionfruit tapioca creme, Chocolate gateaux, and a Lion King-themed Cupcake.
Many people have raved about how delicious all the options were. It’s been said that this is the best restaurant the Animal Kingdom Theme Park has to offer!
7. The Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom)
Magic Kingdom’s Crystal Palace will transport you to the hundred-acre wood. Over there, you can dine with Pooh and his friends. This restaurant has been praised for being one of the best character buffets ever. Many families adored being able to hang out with Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and other favorites. The design of the restaurant is also gorgeous. It resembles an actual crystal palace. Reminding me of a greenhouse.
Since it is a buffet, there are multiples options guests can choose from. There are steaks, fish, pizza, salads, seasonal ravioli, and plant-based entrees. There are also many kinds of dessert options. Some options will make everyone happy. Whether you are a picky eater or not.
8. Chefs de France (EPCOT)
Everybody knows and raves about French culture and cuisine. French food has been internationally recognized as one of the finest ever made. Chefs de France is no exception. It is located in the French pavilion at EPCOT. A place that is already gorgeous enough and will add to your incredible dining experience.
In the restaurant, you can try classics such as escargot (cooked snails), beef bourguignon, charcuterie boards, and Ratatouille. If you are a fan of the movie, you will finally get the chance to try this world-famous dish! They also have amazing desserts such as berry fruit salads, chocolate tarts, and one of the best creme brulees I ever tried.
9. Be Our Guest (Magic Kingdom)
This restaurant, to me, wins the award for the best-themed dining establishment. If you are a Beauty and the Beast fan, you would have the time of your life. The restaurant is located inside Beast’s Castle. Once you enter the dining room, you’ll be transported to the ballroom where Belle and the Beast waltzed. A truly magical experience!
You can dine on French classics such as Croque monsieurs, vegetable quiches, escargots, and other wonderful dishes. The best part is a waiter delivers your food in a fancy carriage. As if we are royalty.
10. Le Cellier Steakhouse (EPCOT)
If you want to have one of the best steak experiences, the Canadian smoke show, Le Cellier, will feed you well. The restaurant is located in the Canada pavilion at Epcot.
The restaurant offers ribeye steaks, New York strips, sustainable fish, and the World-Renowned Filet Mignon. I heard many guests go for the filet mignon alone. As it is labeled as Disney’s best steak dish. The restaurant is also known for its poutine dishes and maple-based desserts.
