10 Times Meredith Grey Perfectly Described Finals Week
Everyone knows how difficult finals week gets. It’s the time of year when all we can think about are the holidays, but all we can do is cry over our impending tests. Here’s a little bit of Meredith Grey to help get you through the finals week.
1. When you realize it’s all about to start.
That dreadful Sunday before finals start and it all becomes a little too real. It’s when you realize you need to start studying because you haven’t yet and it’s stressing you out.
2. When one of your friends tells you that they only need to study for a couple hours.
We all know that one person who never seems to study as much as the rest of us, but still seems to do well. In that moment of anger and sadness, all we can think is:
3. When you’re so tired you might pass out in the middle of your exam.
Finals week means staying up all night to do last minute cramming and banking on that coffee in the morning to keep you awake for the exam. After a few days, we all look and feel like this:
4. When you run into someone that seems just *a little* too happy.
We all have that one friend who, when we’re dying, seems to be perfectly fine. It’s as though they aren’t staying up all night, and are actually okay during exams. And as much as we might want to be happy for them, it just makes us mad.
5. When you’re in the exam and you can’t choose an answer.
There are always those lovely questions on exams where it seems that more than one of the answers is right, and you want to be able to choose them both. Or when they all seem wrong, and you don’t know which one to choose.
6. Halfway through the week when you get really discouraged.
By the time Wednesday hits, we’re all a little under the weather and really feeling the lack of sleep. You start to feel a little like this:
7. So you take a dance break.
You just gotta dance it out sometimes. It’s a nice little study break.
8. When the people around you are being loud.
Whenever you’re in a dorm, there’s without a doubt noises all around you. All you want is for them to shut up so you can actually study, or at least so you could actually study.
9. When all of the stress hits you and you break down.
Around Wednesday or Thursday is the inevitable emotional breakdown that everyone has. This is when I like to take a study break and think about winter break and when it’ll all be over.
10. When you’re finally done.
We’re right alongside Meredith here. Time to go home for the holidays!
