The process of getting engaged was not one that most young people can afford. First off, the couple got engaged in the Bahamas, which is a pipe dream of a vacation for most people, especially those as young as these two. Secondly, the engagement ring cost about a half a million dollars, according to a source for TMZ. They are celebrities, so it makes sense that they have the money.
While they recently rekindled their romance (back in June, to be specific), they had dated back in 2015 and 2016. According to Us magazine, a source said that even in their time apart, they still meant a lot to each other and had special places in their hearts for each other. Even though it seems rushed, they have proven their love, even when they are apart.
This thought is one for those who are not Justin Bieber fans. Many people still dislike him, though his die-hard fans have tried to convince them that he has gotten better at singing, more mature, and more attractive over the years. For those who think otherwise, they can see that if he can improve and fall in love, anyone can.
Many celebrities do not last very long. Even non-celebrity relationships and marriages are at high risk of ending. It is said that the marriage termination rate still lingers around 50%. Since Justin and Hailey were together and broke up before, it is uncertain to say how long they will last. Hopefully, it is forever since they are apparently still in love and they survived some time apart.
This applies to fans of either Hailey or Justin. Many fans of celebrities go as far as dreaming about marrying their favorite celebrities. They become crushed when they realize that the celebrity does not actually know they exist, and many celebrities actually have boundaries up against dating a fan. However, it is nice to dream about what it would be like.
Young marriages are making a comeback, and these two are keeping up with the trend. Justin is currently 24 and Hailey is 21. Many people may look at them and scoff at how young they are, but they have both accomplished a lot so far. It is easy for people who are older and unmarried to be envious of those who are young and married, but this kind of thing is normal.
Remember when Justin was dating Selena Gomez? They went through so much together and had so many ups and downs. In the end, they broke up, but they held on fairly strong. Selena especially went through hell and back through their relationship, even writing “The Heart Wants What It Wants” about their relationship. We can only hope that Justin will treat Hailey better.
Regardless of how you feel about them, their loved ones and fans know how lucky they are to have each other. Justin Bieber and Hailey’s relationship shows that they are both really successful and are in love, and everyone deserves the amount of happiness they have when they are together. Whether you hate them or are envious that they are engaged, they are truly in love and it is a beautiful thing.
