10 Things You’ll See On Every UF Student’s Snapchat

If you're a UF student with a Snapchat (and honestly, these days, who doesn't have one?), it's almost guaranteed you've posted one of these. Here are 10 things you'll see on every UF student's Snapchat.

We know that the new Snapchat update has you going crazy. Despite all of its ugly new features, at least we can still add to our Snap stories. If you’re a UF student with a Snapchat (and honestly, these days, who doesn’t have one?), it’s almost guaranteed you’ve posted one of these. Here are 10 things you’ll see on every UF student’s Snapchat:

1. Century Tower

Century Tower is THE icon of the University of Florida campus. Want to let your Snap friends know you’re back at UF? Century Tower. Complete with a “University of Florida” filter.

2. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

Are you even running stadiums if you don’t post it on social media? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

3. Temperature filter if it’s below 40 degrees

Floridians don’t know what “cold” means. And if thermostats drop below 40, you can be sure to find out on Snapchat before your Weather app.

4. Lib West at 1 a.m.

Studying for that chem test the next day? Nah. Much more likely to be Snapping about it.

5. Puppies

You know what the best day of the entire semester day is? That one day when UF brings puppies to the lib during finals week. If you see a puppy on campus on any other day, you will surely put it on your story. We college kids are deprived of puppies.

6. President Fuchs

President Fuchs is perhaps the biggest icon AND meme on campus (thank you Swampy UF Memes). Anytime you see him around on campus, you put it on your story.

7. Pascal’s Coffee cappuccinos

What’s the most hipster/Tumblr thing I can think of? Cappuccino art. All you coffee enthusiasts, you know what I’m talking about.

8. People in Turlington

Whether they are giving a protest, a speech, doing a dance or trying to start a riot, there’s always something crazy going on in the plaza.

9. Lake Alice

If you venture to the far west side of campus to do a little hiking, you’re sure to put it on your story. Kudos if you see a real gator, too.

10. Dennis Kane

Equally as much a celebrity as President Fuchs, Dennis is known for his short-shorts, yelling and dancing in Turlington. Still confused what I’m talking about? You’ll know when you see him. Trust me.
