After school walks to Elmers despite the absence of sidewalks all over town.

People outside of town thinking it’s lame that the only thing your town has is a gas station, but little do they know it is the OG hangout place.

If it wasn’t Elmer’s where you and the squad were hanging out, it was Dairy Queen.

Especially in the summer when it was truly ice cream #szn.

Friday’s were the best day of the week because it was Pizza Fridays.

Jennifer Lawrence is definitely not the only one still always looking for pizza.

Other people from nearby counties assuming you’re loaded with a 10 million dollar house once you say the word “Saddle River”. Two different towns with the same 07458 zip code.

These so expensive they got all of Cardi B shook.

  

You looked forward to the annual carnival in Lions Park not for the rides, but for the melt in your mouth FRIED OREOS.

Although the GIF on the right could probably be the same feels for riding Fireball with all the creaky noises.

  

Accelerated Reading was a pain in the butt for sure.

Especially the quizzes and having to get your parent’s signature every time.

  

Finding pacer tests and the Cavallini Run exhausting, but then again your very own gym teacher has done multiple Ironmans.

Most of Bergen County’s main place to shop is Garden State Plaza but nope. Tice’s
Corner is where it’s at.

The REALLY plain geotag you always had to use.

Can always count on the geotag to ruin a VSCO worthy picture.

You always knew when a bar mitzvah/bat mitzvah happened because your entire

grade would wear the sweatshirt the following Monday.

Like did you even go to their bm if you weren’t wearing their sweatshirt or post an
Instagram that said, “Mazel Tov ~insert name here~”?

   

And last but not least…

“I’m from USR”…“Wait USR? Like the Soviet Union?”

“That’s the USSR sweetie.”

…It’s nothing like the Soviet Union, and it’s nothing like any other town because nothing compares to the one and only USR. Nothing compares to the good ol’ 07458.
