1. Lake Drives are everything

No matter what mood you are in, there is nothing better than ending the day with a drive
around all of the gorgeous lakes.

2. Mocking (aka hammocking) is the perfect way to spend the afternoon

Between the lakes and the many parks within the city, it is the perfect way to relax by
yourself or with friends.

3. The amount of bike paths are endless

You can get to anywhere you may need to go. Or if you’re feeling adventurous, you can
see the whole city by bike. There are multiple paths that link up together so you can see
all the main points of the city.

4. The love for Prince is everywhere

From the mural in uptown to his golden start at first avenue, there is no doubt that
minneapolis loves prince.

5. The music scene is truly amazing

From local bands that play at summer festivals and other small venues to the big acts
that are put on at the target center or US bank, there is something for everybody. It is
also a great way to discover new music.

6. The park system offers so much

There are so many cool things you can do to have fun. With a wide variety of youth
sports, arts, and other activities, you can always find something you are interested in.
They also keep the park areas in good condition for the community to use.

7. Music and movies in the park are a perfect way to spend summer nights

Throughout the whole summer. With the beautiful parks, there is no reason not to spend
as much time as possible outside, that is when it’s nice out of course.

8. The food scene is something special

It is so good. Of course we have all the usual chain restaurants, but local is the way to
go. There is a wide variety of options, so you won’t be let down whether you are looking
for something healthy or not.
