3. Restaurants without live music will never be up to par.

The live music capital of the world has spoiled you so much with live, local artist pop ups and Austin City Limits that any entertainment environment sans live music just will. not. do.

4. 90 degree summer days feel breezy.

When temps creep up to the hundreds in the summertime, you start praying for those 90 degree projected pool days.

5. Jeans are perfectly acceptable for formal wear.

The Texas tuxedo is no joke… until you’re the country club laughing stock for being too under dressed.

6. H-E-B.

While Whole Foods will always be the hometown honey, no general grocery store will ever measure up to H-E-B. I’d try to explain this further, but you’d have to of grew up in Austin, TX to understand every Austinite’s loyalty to Texas’ favorite grocery store.

7. Baby’s first word was “y’all.”

More than just a word, being the person who says “y’all” has became a part of your identity.

8. Spontaneous photo shoots on the side of the highway were not uncommon.

Bluebonnet season only lasts a few short months, gotta get it while it’s hot!
