Trader Joe’s is a chain of specialty food stores that’s grown pretty popular in recent years. It’s one of those unique little places that you can find spread out across most parts of America, but it’s just sparse enough that it’s a nice surprise when you happen across one. They are so many unique things you can buy at Trader Joe’s too! They have an endearing story too:
“It all started in the 50s… Would you believe we started out as a small chain of convenience stores? It’s true. Way back in 1958. We were called Pronto Markets. In ‘67, our founder, the original Trader Joe, changed our name (yes, to Trader Joe’s) and the way we do business.
We made the stores bigger (if you can imagine), decked the walls with cedar planks and donned our crew in cool Hawaiian shirts. Most importantly, we started packaging innovative, hard-to-find, great-tasting foods under the “Trader Joe’s” name.”
You can read the rest of it here. Needless to say, all of us love to visit Trader Joe’s. They have a myriad of delicious food options, and they even have some really healthy items you can (and should) try! Here are some of the delicious things you can buy at Trader Joe’s!
This butter provides a nourishing blend of so many nuts like almonds, cashews, walnuts, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, and pecans. With that delicious assortment you can be sure the product is amazing!
With cauliflower being the perfect healthy substitute for a lot of unhealthy foods, this one is unquestionably a must-buy! This is one of the most unique things you can buy at Trader Joe’s!
This is organic, grain free, gluten free, and vegan! It’s perfect for anyone! You can serve it as a cereal, mix it into some yogurt, or eat it by itself; no matter what you do it is tastes great!
Yogurt is great for the digestive system, and with all the flavors Trader Joe’s has, you’ll be sure to find one that suits your tastes!
We all like granola and peanut butter, and chances are most of us need a little more protein in our diets, so this is a perfect (and yummy) solution!
Dairy free, gluten free, only 100 calories… ingredients like brown rice, rolled oats, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and cranberries… I think I’ve said enough!
Find these 100% gluten-free oats in the cereal aisle! Rolled oats are some of the best things to buy at Trader Joe’s!
By “uncured” it means rather than using chemical curing agents, they actually smoke it over real applewood.
They’re grown in Turkey and dried in natural sunshine- that’s it! You can be sure to eat this fruit snack guilt-free.
FINALLY a gluten-free chicken nugget option! Not to mention they’re made with meat from chickens who haven’t been stuffed with antibiotics.
The salad you know and love with extra tasty ingredients like cauliflower and broccoli!
The title just screams healthy, doesn’t it?
I think a lot of us have probably been held captive by the charms of acai before, and this product doesn’t change that fact! Since it’s unsweetened, you don’t have to worry about tons of extra sugar finding its way into your system!
Raw means uncooked, so you’re getting the untainted nectar straight from the bees, literally.
Fish products are already pretty healthy with the extra protein they have. Put that on top of healthy ingredients like walnuts and honey, and you have a home run! Honey walnut shrimp are some of the yummiest things you can buy at Trader Joe’s!
Just like peanut butter is made of ground peanuts, tahini is ground sesame seeds. Literally the only thing in this jar is the ground, organic sesame seeds!
If you’re into that sort of thing.
Fat free, sugar free, organic. A childhood treat that we all still undeniably love.
If you’ve been to Olive Garden, chances are you’ve had their gnocchi soup, which is a blend of chicken, broth, and the most delicious pillowy balls of potato. Potato, however, isn’t the most healthy of ingredients. So, trade the traditional gnocchi ingredient for cauliflower!
This cheese comes from organic-fed cows which gives it an exceptionally rich flavor.
