10 Things To Do With Your SO This Valentine’s Day

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and you really want to make it special for your SO. Since this is your first Valentine’s Day with someone, you’re a little unsure of what to do. To expand your knowledge, you decide to watch many different romantic movies. Waiting till your SO heads to bed, you pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave, get comfy on the couch, and start binging Valentine’s Day themed movies on Netflix and Prime. This endeavor keeps you up till 6 in the morning, but you’re quite confident now that you’ll know exactly how to make this holiday truly special.

Disney World

As soon as your SO wakes up and comes downstairs you tell them to get ready because you’re both going to Disney World. Upon hearing these words, your SO utters a cry of joy and begins jumping up and down while clapping their hands together. When they run upstairs to get ready, you hear another exclamation of joy, followed by the reappearance of your SO holding a Goofy Hat. “Is this for me?” they ask. “Yes” you reply with a smile. Tears well up in your SO’s eyes, and they proceed to finish getting dressed.

Shopping together

After a truly wonderful Valentine’s Day morning spent at Disney World with your SO, things seem to be going well. You and your partner head over to Disney Springs, which your SO spotted on the way into the park. It’s an incredibly beautiful place full of smiling people, and you spend a good amount of your day here. One store in particular catches your SO’s attention: Zara. Stopping outside the entrance of the store, your partner pulls out their phone while explaining that they have a friend with the same name who would love this picture.

Visit new places

However, all good things must come to an end, and so you and your SO leave Disney Springs. The next part of your Valentine’s Day plan is to explore places that you and your partner have never been to before. Luckily, you both live in a big city, so there’s plenty of things to see. Stopping by an impressive looking museum, you park your car and head inside. Since you’ve never been here before, you’re not aware that what looked like an ordinary museum on the outside is in fact one designed for children!

A hot air balloon ride

After walking around the museum for a bit, you glimpse a hot air balloon outside and point it out to your SO. They scream in excitement and run through the front doors. You quickly follow after your partner while keeping your head down in embarrassment. Once outside, you head to the area with the balloon where you find your SO talking with someone. Apparently, this is your partner’s friend, Zara. After the introductions, Zara offers to take you both for a ride in the balloon.

Head to the spa

You and your SO quickly climb into the balloon with Zara on what is turning out to be a wild Valentine’s Day. As you rise off the ground, you see someone running toward you and waving their hands in the air. You smile and wave back as you, your SO, and Zara rapidly ascend into the sky. It doesn’t take long for your partner to glimpse their favorite spa below, so you both say your goodbyes to Zara and parachute down into the city below. Before you know it, you’re enjoying a nice massage from the world-class staff.

Horseback riding

Valentine’s Day has begun to get a little off the rails, but you’re confident that everything will be alright. Suddenly, your SO bursts into the room and excitedly tells you that they want to go horseback riding in the country. Finding the keys to a complimentary sports car lying on the front desk of the spa, you both head out. Arriving at the Horse Farm on the outskirts of the city, you make the necessary arrangements to rent ‘a pair of their finest and noblest steeds.’ You are given a pair of brilliant white horses and, walking back to the car, present them to your SO.

Go to a concert

Leading the horses by the reins, you and your partner walk over to the Valentine’s Day trail. This seems a little lame to your SO, however, so they suggest that you both ride the horses somewhere else. Considering this suggestion for a moment, you reply that there’s a concert happening right now at the entertainment center. Leaping astride the horse with no assistance from yourself, your SO gallops off in the direction of the city. This unpredictable event startles you but, quickly recovering, you set off in pursuit.

Wine tasting

Just as you reach the street leading to the entertainment center, the band performing the concert exits and sets off in a limo. Your SO and yourself rein in suddenly while watching the limo speed away into the city. Valentine’s Day should be the one day of the year that your partner is completely happy, and so you decide to gallop off after the limo in order to find out where they’re going. After a crazy chase through the city, the limo pulls into a luxurious wine bar in the middle of a vineyard.

Play sports

Approaching the band with your SO, you greet them and ask if the wine tasting has begun yet. They reply that they were waiting on a couple more people. You laugh in response to this and, gesturing to you and your SO, reply that the final members of the tour have arrived. Soon afterwards, the tour guide shows up and leads your group through the vineyard. At the end of the tour, you find yourselves in a warehouse where all the wine is stored. Upon the wall in a back corner is a basketball hoop which some members of the band point out to you. They insist that you and your partner play at least one game with them.

A romantic dinner

It’s hard to believe, but you and your SO actually won the game of basketball against the entire band. After enjoying a few bottles of wine with them, they sadly announce that they must depart. Your partner and yourself watch them climb back into their limo and drive through the vineyard on their way back to the hotel. Turning to your SO, you tell them that you planned a lovely dinner at Remi’s – a very expensive restaurant. The atmosphere of Remi’s is incredible, and the food is yet more so. You’re about to speak when you suddenly get the urge to yawn, which makes you involuntarily close your eyes. Opening them again, you find yourself on the couch in front of the TV at home. You conclude that it must have all been a dream, and proceed to turn it off. As you’re pressing the power button, you see a news headline that reads ‘Stolen hot air balloon mysteriously disappears.’
