
Just like any school, the University of Minnesota has its own share of funny occurrences that every student will likely experience. Although this is the case, it can be said that Minnesota has an extra unique list of these due to the various wide range of weather in the area. Below is a list of 10 things that will happen to you during your time at UMN! Just remember that everyone goes through these and they’re pretty funny once you get the chance to look back on them.
The people who salt and scrape the ice are pretty consistent, but sometimes there’s a time in the day (usually really late at night or early in the morning) where the sidewalk becomes an ice rink. Good luck getting home!

The most frustrating thing is getting your ball stuck and having to inform the front desk. It’ll happen more than once during a game, but it’s worth the frustration because the games are so cheap.
