The Ultimate UM Bucket List
Whether you’re an incoming freshman, a current scholar, or an alum, your time at the University of Miami should consist or have consisted of many experiences and opportunities to explore. Miami has a lot to offer wherever you decide to roam. Keep reading to make sure you’re not missing out! Here are just a few things to add to your list before wrapping up your years at the University of Miami. Keep reading for the ultimate UM bucket list!
1. Take a photo (or a few) with Sebastian the Ibis.

2. Try to study in one of the hammocks during finals week.
3. Attend a free screening at Cosford Cinema.
When Halloween comes around, they also show Rocky Horror Picture Show.
4. Eat and drink at the Rat.
5. Experience midnight breakfast at the dining hall.
6. Tailgate at the football games.
7. Get a picture by the “U” sign near the campus bookstore.
8. Jump in one of the fountains on campus.
9. Hop on one of the shuttles to shop, eat, or watch a movie at Sunset Place.
10. Support the Canes during homecoming and attend the concert.
11. Take a trip to the keys.
Many students go there for Fantasy Fest when Halloween rolls around.
12. Explore places like Key Biscayne and South Beach.
13. Enjoy Starbucks drinks on campus outside under the orange umbrellas.
14. Visit artsy Wynwood.
15. Go to Shark Valley in the Everglades.
16. Study in another country!!
UM offers many study abroad programs.
17. Get a job at UM.
You don’t get paid much, but it’s at least something.
18. Go to a free class at the on-campus gym.
19. Collect as many free t-shirts as you can at the on-campus school events.
20. Go to CanesFest.

21. Go from pale to tan after frequently going to the pool, beach, or green.
22. Stay out all night in one of the many clubs in South Beach (they’re open way past 2am).
23. Go to a themed frat party.
24. Learn to budget, Miami is expensive.

25. Last but not least…GRADUATE!
It’s too easy to flunk out or get expelled. Enjoy your years of college, but remember, you’re there for a degree.
