Whether you’re on summer break from school, or have been planning squeeze in a week’s getaway for yourself this fall, we all want to have the best vacation experience possible. At this time of year, there are so many places to chose from, which is why I’ll help you pick today, with the ultimate fall travel destinations for your break!
Italy offers an amazing experience throughout the year, but most especially during the fall. The scenery is breathtaking, and is the top on our fall travel destination list.
Not to mention all the things you can do while being in Italy, the largest being the sightseeing. Looking at buildings such as the Leaning Tower Of Pisa online is one thing, but seeing it in person is a completely different experience. There are so much more of these extraordinary landmarks, such as the Colosseum, or visit the cathedrals at the Vatican, among other things.
If you’re more adventurous, climb up Mount Vesuvius (which was active during WW2). The combination of the thrill of climbing such a mountain, overlooking such a beautiful city, all contribute to the exhilarating experience of visiting Italy during the Fall.
Oh, and don’t forget about the amazing pizza, pasta, and gelato!
Wales is extremely beautiful, and another great Fall travel destination. It is likely not on the radar of a lot of people for where to spend their fall vacation, but you will have an experience you will always remember here.
There’s so much to do in Wales, such as visiting the Snowdonia National Park. This is one of the most pleasing sites you can possibly imagine, full of nature’s beauty, and fun engaging activities. You can go kayaking, swimming, hiking, or just gaze at how peaceful the place is.
Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, is also located around the park if you are up for the hiking challenge. It gives you an even better view and from the peak, you can see Ireland across the sea (and take a Pulitzer worthy picture).
There are numerous ATV themed adventures, horseback riding, and castle tours that you can partake in while in Wales. There is something for everyone, as you can also observe the intriguing falcons and other intimidating birds of prey up close with their “Falconry Experience”.
Everyone loves Hawaii. It’s generally seen as the perfect place for a vacation, and for perfectly good reason. You will never have a dull moment if you come here, as there are so many things to do, it will seem endless. What’s so great about Hawaii is the weather is amazing all year round, making it a perfect Fall travel destination.
I highly recommend you go experience the Luau at Paradise Cove. It’s an event that usually includes all three meals, interactive and entertaining Hawaiian dances and performances. Keep in mind you have the great views of the beautiful city of Honolulu during this event.
If water is more your style, you can go snorkeling with the turtles with the Turtle Canyon Snorkel Cruise. You enjoy the view, and get to interact with the sea life including the turtles, dolphins, and if you’re lucky enough, you might see some whales!
If you want a more relaxing experience, make sure to go to the Manoa Waterfalls. While you can’t really swim in the water below the falls, just being immersed in the environment is more enough to give you the calm feeling and relaxation you might desire.
Truly taking the moment in will give you the breathtaking experience Hawaii is known for providing.
As cliche as this may sound, Paris is always a top tier destination for vacation, no matter what time of year it is. It is not only the world’s hub for romance, but the landmarks, food, attractions, and more make Paris one of the best places to travel to during your Fall holiday whether by yourself, with family, or friends.
Paris is well known for its art, so it is one of the aspects of the city you must look into. World-famous art museums such as The Louvre, Fondation Louis Vuitton, and The Musee Picasso, will leave you speechless and lost for words. The experience of witnessing such beauty will make you never want to leave.
The Palais Royal Gardens give you a sense of fresh air, as you witness the perfect scenery and view of the mighty Palais Royal palace. You can eat at the outdoor cafe, while sitting right under the perfectly trimmed tall hedges, or dine at the critically acclaimed Restaurant du Palais Royal located right in the garden.
The Eiffel Tower needs no introduction, as it is the fourth most visited tourist attraction in the world. It is a must visit if you go to Paris, as you will not want to miss the exhilarating light show at night. You can take photos from inside the tower as well, and eat at the 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant located right in the tower. There are many more things to do in Paris, but you have to experience it for yourself.
