The must-do for a city girl; roof-topping. Most cities have rooftop bars, usually in the downtown areas. They are super fun especially during the summer seasons. Try your city’s fanciest rooftop; you will likely get amazing drinks and not to mention a beautiful view of your city.

When living in the city, nightlife is the ultimate thing to take advantage of. You are likely in the middle of some of the best bars and nightclubs around so why not make the most of it and dance the night away with your girls? Living in the city can be super convenient when having a place to stay the night right nearby!

City life can be super luxurious and you’re always dressed to impress. So why not have a fun photo-shoot with your friends at some of the city’s most iconic locations? Especially if you plan on living in the city short term, this is a great way to make some artsy memories of your time here!

Have A Fancy Brunch

Brunch is a necessity for a city girl because that is where the BEST places to brunch are. Check out some of the fanciest brunch spots with your girls and have a treat once in a while! It is always good to indulge in the good city life when you have it right in front of you!

See A Show

New York, Chicago, LA, all of the cities should have musicals and shows showing year round! Especially if you live in cities like Chicago and New York, take advantage of some of the best productions! They are definitely worth the money and experience (plus you get to dress up Hollywood style and who doesn’t enjoy that?!)

If a city girl isn’t a coffee addict then I don’t know who is! Cities have the best cafes around! Make a list of all the places you should try and take your friends (or a date) to the best cafe or coffee shop you discovered. An activity that a city girl absolutely must experience at least once in her life is a romantic sky-scraper date! Make your man take you out on a special occasion such as an anniversary to the hottest restaurant up in the sky! I’m sure you both won’t regret it. It is crazy romantic and you will get a gorgeous view especially at sunset! Make sure to take lots of pics!

Visit The City Park/Zoo

Most cities have to have a main park or zoo for people to enjoy. Parks and zoos are great for studying, relaxing, tanning (in the summer), cute dates, hanging out with adorable animals, and photo ops. It is a great way for a city girl to unwind and have fun outside once in a while!

A city girl definitely needs to try her city’s best restaurant. There will probably be a few that are considered “the best” because there are just so many but ask around, look at reviews, and set a date for an extra special occasion to go! It is for sure a worthy bucket list city activity.

Christmas In The City

When living in the city, Christmas time is just so extravagant and elegant! No place celebrates it better than cities because of all the markets, lights, and decor. Make sure to take it all in; go ice skating, visit Christmas shops and markets, go on romantic hot chocolate dates, go shopping, go see the ballet, go to Christmas themed balls if you can etc. You will feel like you are living in a Frank Sinatra era!
