In order to plan ahead in advance a time to do work, whether it be for homework or business work, you have to at least have the audacity to come up with a plan to complete your assignments. The reason why you must have a schedule is because a schedule can be used to help increase your productivity. Another reason why you should have a schedule in order to prevent procrastination is that having a schedule prevents you from wasting time less, and spending time on working more. Also, do not assume that you will get things done later when you have time to do so. However, what you need to understand is that you will never have time unless you make that time. And you make that time by scheduling your time and not making things during that time. Oh, and also schedule your time for when you are the most productive if that is possible. 

2.) You Also Need To Prioritize Your Goals, Which Is The Second Way Out of The Top 5 Ways To Prevent Procrastination

In order to stop procrastinating so much, what you need to do once you have completed working on your schedule is to try and see if you can prioritize your goals, Which is One of The Top 5 Ways To Prevent Procrastination. What I mean by prioritizing your goals is that I mean that you need to try and set up better priorities for yourself in order to achieve your goal to prevent procrastination. The reason why you need to try and prioritize your goals is because the more you get your personal priorities straight, the better your work will ultimately turn out to be. The more better your work will turn out to be, the more better your work, whether it be homework or paperwork from your job, will be received from your teachers, or employers at your local job. 

3.) Hold Yourself Accountable, Which Is One Of The Top 5 Ways To Prevent Procrastination

In order to overcome your procrastination, you have to take some sort of responsibility for your own personal actions. The reason why you have to start holding yourself accountable is because you cannot be blaming other people or other circumstances for your own self-inflicted problem with procrastination. In order to prevent procrastination, you must take responsibility for both yourself and your actions, whether they be good or bad. The more you take responsibility for your actions, the more you slowly begin to realize how silly and ridiculous blaming others for your procrastination and sulking in sorrow for procrastination truly is. Instead of constantly blaming others for your mishaps, you will become a much more well-rounded, secure, and much more responsible person in life. 

4.) Start Committing To Your Tasks, Which is One Of The Top 5 Ways To Prevent Procrastination

What you also need to do is that you need to start committing to your tasks that you have written down for yourself.  This is something that has to do with the Top 5 Ways To Prevent Procrastination because when you start to do things, especially independently, you slowly but surely start to improve upon what you need to do for yourself, especially when it comes to important and essential things such as your work. 5.) Recognize And Learn The Differences Between Procrastination And Laziness, Which Is One Of the Top 5 Ways To Prevent Procrastination

What you also need to do is recognize and learn the differences between both procrastination and laziness. Although procrastination and laziness have similar traits compared to one another, procrastination and laziness are actually different. For example, the similarities procrastination shares with laziness is that both procrastination and laziness both have to do with a lack of productivity. A difference between that both procrastination and laziness have is that procrastination is doing your work, then getting distracted from your work, while laziness is sometimes not doing your work at all. Another similarity is that procrastination and laziness also stem from a lack of motivation to get work or certain things done. Another difference between both laziness and procrastination is that while sometimes someone does eventually get their work done, someone who suffers from a extreme or severe case of  laziness will often slack off and kind of brush off the work they do as nothing of importance or significance and will just not actually do their work like they are supposed to. With this in mind, you will start to slowly get an idea through significant amounts of researching the differences between both the differences between laziness and procrastination, you will get an idea as to how to do better in life, as well as in school or at your job.
