The Most Picturesque Spots: Best Locations In London For Instagrammable Pics
London is one hell of a place to live in.
It’s vast. It’s widely different from borough to borough — almost as if you were travelling between different cities.
It has things, foods and people from all over the world. It has a giant variety of all kinds of leisure and entertainment – from parks, to archery grounds, to cafés, to clubs, to whatever else your heart might desire.
And, of course, it’s full of gorgeous spots that will make for incredible instagram pictures.
So here’s a handy list of some of them!
Peggy Porschen Cakes
Always one of the top choices for cute photo updates, Peggy Porschen has taken the London Insta-model/blogger/influencer scene by a storm.
A wonderful bakery that has some of the most gorgeous decor out there also sells delicious pastries – as a nice bonus. We all know it matters more if it looks good in pictures; which it sure does. Everyone who has been in London at least once has a picture here.
Sketch Bar & Restaurant
One of the most famous Instagrammable spots of the city; it has a gorgeous interior overall, but people seem to be the most enthralled with its restrooms – deservedly so. Spacious, even vast, and weird – with little capsule cubicles that make you feel like you’re going into space, not to the restroom – it’s a perfect spot for some photosession.
As a nice bonus, it’s a quite good European restaurant – the cuisine lives up to the expectations. Just don’t forget to book a table.
God’s Own Junk Yard gallery
Living up to its name in terms of how eclectic the inside of this art gallery is, but absolutely not a junkyard judging by the quality, this location is perfect for taking bright, in your face, memorable pictures – pretty in pinks and reds, too – that would make all of your Instagram followers wish they had, in fact, agreed to meet up for coffee with you.
Cereal Killer Café
Designed in a nostalgia-inducing vintage style, this cozy café offering a variety of cereals and different ways to mix it up (and things to mix it up with) is also a gorgeous and quite memorable place to pose in – be it in front of endless cereal boxes, or old VHS tapes – that will play on your followers’ heartstrings.
Brick Lane
Brick Lane, in general, is one of the most beloved artsy areas in London. It’s saturated with street art, vintage shops, smaller art galleries and cute little cozy cafés you can unwind and/or take pictures in.
While expensive to live in, this area is incredibly popular with most Londoners – be it for photos, shopping or the artistry of the location – and is constantly bustling with action, with different markets and pop-ups opening up and moving around almost every single day.
The Coral Room at the Bloomsbury Hotel
Fancy, chic, bright red and posh – that’s The Coral Room cocktail bar.
With access to several different settings – from the biggest bright red room, to the quiet terrace with soft flowers, to the beautiful inner corridors with bright floral wallpaper – this bar will cater to all possible photogaphy needs that you have.
In addition, the impeccable service, the beautiful design of the surroundings, and the wonderful cocktails will make you feel like you’re in some quality retro movie.
