The Most Helpful Beauty Youtubers To Watch

If you are at all into makeup, then Youtube is the perfect spot for you to keep up with the beauty world. I have compiled a list of the most helpful beauty Youtubers for you to watch!

1. ThaTaylaa (Taylor)

Known as “ThaTaylaa” on Youtube, Taylor is a great girl to watch with knowledge on all things foundation. Every Friday, she posts a new “Foundation Friday” video where she films an all-day wear test of a new foundation. She also runs a series every few months called “15 Days of Foundation”. Every single day for 15 days, she uploads a new video testing a new foundation. Then, at the end of the 15 days, she posts a wrap-up video sharing her favorites and least favorites of the 15.  Any proceeds from the series are donated to Project Beauty Share. I love her because her reviews are honest and extremely informative, and have definitely inspired me to go out and buy new products. She makes sure to show up close shots so her audience can really see how a product is sitting on her skin, which is rare in beauty videos. She is so entertaining to watch and really has some great tips and tricks- especially for beginners.

2. Jaclyn Hill

I’m sure you’ve heard her name before. Jaclyn Hill is one of the most popular beauty YouTubers around. She has collaborated with Morphe and Becca Cosmetics so you may have even seen her products in Sephora or Ulta. Jaclyn’s wildly successful Youtube career has racked her up with 5.8 million subscribers. Her tutorials go in-depth with every step of the makeup process. Jaclyn’s beautifully blended eyeshadow looks, and practically flawless skin takes her makeup to an entirely new level. Though the items she uses are usually pricey, she really knows what she is talking about and what works well for her. She explains why she does every step, and how exactly to replicate it. She is so successful for a reason. Her genuine personality and humorous attitude have drawn in viewers for years.

Though she doesn’t do anything too complicated, she never fails to create looks that are dazzling. Each new upload is different than the last, so you are sure to find a style that works for you. She also always brings a positive attitude into her videos, so she really is an uplifting spirit to watch.

4. Nicol Concilio

Nicol is a great Youtuber to watch if you are curious about the quality of new releases. Nicol often posts reviews of the newest makeup, whether that be foundation, eyeshadow, or any other product available. She also posts tutorials, usually incorporating not only newly released products, but some of her tried-and-true ones as well. She is very honest about her likes and dislikes, and also very entertaining to watch. Her personality and knowledge in the beauty field were the reasons I subscribed!

5. NikkieTutorials

Would this really be an article on beauty Youtubers without mentioning the queen herself? With over 11 million subscribers, Nikkie (who goes by NikkieTutorials), has pretty much earned the title of eyeshadow queen. She uploads the most creative looks that really push the boundaries of anything that has been done before. Her tutorials guide viewers step-by-step through her process and really teach the great techniques and tricks that she uses. Her reviews are also great and really informative. She is honest in terms of what she likes and dislikes but also makes sure to give her reasoning as to why. What is also great about her channel is that she tries to incorporate both affordable and higher-end products. Her artistry really opens doors for viewers to practice their own skills.
