The Highest Paying Jobs For Women In 2017

It’s no secret women are paid roughly 79 cents less than men – while you might think that’s nothing, it’s something. Tell it to a women who loses almost half a million dollars to men throughout their careers. That’s not the worst part – women in the minority are paid even less and if you are a young women between the ages of 25 to 34, your gender pay gap is getting worse. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have one of the highest paying jobs for women!

Being a #GirlBoss takes hard work and we’re usually penalized for it. Generally women who hold higher office positions are faced with adversary; they’re often discouraged and labeled as a bitch, or any other derogatory terminology for that matter. Its apparent equal rights across the board have yet to be attained. In fact several women are suing Trump in attempts to help end the gender pay gap. Women have always kicked ass but are really cranking it up a notch. Brave women are stepping forward in regards to sexual harassment, pink tax and the gender pay gap. To honor those bad ass women, here’s the 2017 Forbes statistics of the highest paying jobs for women.

Engineers

Surgeons & Physicians

Median annual earnings: $76,752

Physician Assistants

Median annual earnings: $80,444

Lawyers

Median annual earnings: $84,188

Computer & Information Systems Managers

Median annual earnings: $87,260

Nurse Practitioners

Median annual earnings: $91,156
