As we all know, fast food isn’t the greatest. But, there are times when you have absolutely no time to pack a lunch and don’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on food. So, you stop at McDonalds. But, that doesn’t mean you have to go for the Big Mac. Here is a healthy guide to eating at McDonalds.
All-day breakfast options are a healthy alternative to fried foods. McDonald’s biscuits contain eggs and protein. So, go for an egg sandwich!
McDonald’s burgers and biscuits can be ordered without the bread and buns. Other foods can be eaten in lieu of pancakes, or McDonald’s hotcakes.
Sodas, fruit juices, and sweetened caffeinated drinks are the more unhealthy beverages at McDonald’s. So, save yourself the calories and go with the other options.
Fibers in the fruit promote health. For an even healthier serving, opt for the fruit and yogurt parfait without granolas.
Although the options above are “better” options it doesn’t mean they are exactly healthy. Cookies are delicious, but obviously you can do a lot better. But, when it comes time and it is between being 15 minutes late to work or hopping in the McDonalds drive thru, these are the options to go for!
