If that’s not true, then I honestly have no idea what is. Fashion is all about expressing yourself and your personality. It’s about making statements and taking risks. But in all reality, if you truly don’t know anything about fashion, I am telling you that it’s more than okay to admit it. Would you like to know why? Because I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to fashion and dressing myself on a daily basis. Being a three sport athlete for fifteen years while growing up, I wore athletic clothes almost every day and once it came to entering college, I preferred to keep things simple because I didn’t know any other way. My go outfit is jeans, a solid colored pair of sneakers and cute top. I like to call it a day that way. I’ve never been good with picking out shorts, but I am here to tell you that I have done my research and have tried my best to find you the Cutest Shorts to wear this summer.

Pair it with a solid color top and whichever shoes you prefer (I would wear sneakers or sandals) and you are good to go!

This pair of American Eagle Outfitters is perfect for summer. It’s a laid back 90’s Boyfriend Short that has a straight cut out seam which makes them extremely comfortable. I also really love this brick red (I think it looks salmon) color. I feel that colored shorts make a fashion statement in the point that you’re not afraid to be bold and take risks. So, if you’re that type of person, then this pair of shorts is for you.

Lastly, we have the Gap. Personally, I love this store and I shop here all the time. They are constantly bringing in new pieces and there are sales and discounts almost on the daily. I love how they try their best to keep up with the latest fashion trends, especially with it being a brand that isn’t overly popular. Their clothing is affordable, comfortable and easy to pair with other items that you may have in your closet. Now, although jean shorts one of my favorite types of jeans, I prefer the softer material that allows my legs to fully breathe, especially in the humid summer months when almost every day I am wearing them. One of the Cutest Shorts I have are the pair below and I have them in the same exact color—Larkspur Blue.
