Mardi Gras beads aren’t exactly hard to find, especially if you’ve attended parades, so what do you do with all of those colorful catches once you get them home? Mardi Gras beads are meant to be worn as necklaces, but what if you braided a bunch together to make one huge statement necklace! It would certainly be unique to you. Since there are so many kinds of beads out there, you can mix just about any shape and color together to create this. A braided necklace is especially good for those of us who aren’t exactly crafty because all you need is to know how to braid. You’ll also just need a cute ribbon to tie it up when you’re done!

Mardi Gras beads hook together easily with a twist so making this is as easy as gathering your beads and taking five minutes. The cutest way to wear this chain would be over a bralette or crop top of some kind, that way the chain hangs across your stomach like a normal body chain does.
