The Best Universal Orlando Hotels for Guests Visiting the Parks

Hotels at Universal Orlando provide numerous benefits. You get to stay close to the parks and more. Below I listed the best Universal Orlando Hotels that will give you the best experiences!

Universal’s Endless Summer Resort

This Resort is hands down the best value you will get for an on-site hotel. Prices start at just 91 dollars (depending on the season) for guest rooms and 135 for 2 bedroom suites. This is incredibly cheap, especially for a resort this beautiful.

This is Universal’s newest hotel. It opened around two years ago. This means the hotel has the latest amenities, decor, and rooms. You will definitely see that when you walk to the lobby. Everything looks super modern and fresh. The rooms are also spectacular. They look super cool, calm, and fresh. The decor makes you feel like you are staying at a hotel in the Caribbean.

One of the best things about this Hotel is the benefits. Since it is a Universal hotel, guests will gain early park admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. You will be able to ride your favorite Harry Potter attractions one hour before the parks open!

One slight setback is the location. The Hotel is technically located a few blocks from Universal Orlando, so it is not necessarily on property. However, free bus transportation can take you there in a few minutes. Keep that in mind if you are expecting an easy walk to the attractions.

Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort

The Cabana Bay Beach Resort might be one of the most action-packed resorts on property! There is so much to do in this hotel and it is crazy.

Would you believe me if I told you this hotel has a bowling alley? Probably not, but it’s there! The Galaxy Bowl has ten lanes of ten-pin action located on the second floor of the lobby. There’s even a table service restaurant and bar attached to it, so there is no need to leave the area when hungry.

The Resort has the best pool on property (in my opinion, at least). It houses two main pool areas. One has a massive slide while the other has a lazy river. Yes! A lazy river! It is like a mini-water park attached to an all-inclusive resort. It guarantees an incredible experience.

The rooms are attractions within themselves. The massive Cabana towers provide awesome views of the theme parks and the Water Park. In fact, two towers sit right in front of Volcano Bay, the water park. If you get a room over there, you are guaranteed the best views of the park. The best part is that rooms start at only 132 dollars. And you still get those early park benefits.

Loew’s Sapphire Falls Resort

The Sapphire Falls Resort will take you on a sophisticated journey to the sights and smells of the Caribbean. It is a dazzling display of blue colors, turquoise pools, good food, and calm vibes. You will be welcomed by blue waterfalls cascading in the distance, tropical decor taking over the lobby, and super extravagant rooms.

What’s cool about this resort is that it’s connected to the waterways at the center of the resort. This means that you can take a water taxi from the hotel directly to Citywalk, the central hub that connects the two theme parks. This makes an incredibly convenient yet scenic transportation method to your favorite attractions.

This Universal Orlando hotel is on a moderate level. This means that it is a little more upscale than the previous hotels on the list. You can find fine dining options and other perks at this resort. Prices start at 181 dollars.

Loew’s Royal Pacific Resort

I would like to label this Resort as Sapphire Fall’s older sister. She is lush, tropical, and gorgeous. What makes her different is that she is more upscale and luxurious.

The Resort is Polynesian-themed, so the tropical themes will remain prevalent in this beautiful hotel. The artwork around the property is gorgeous as well. There are paintings, sculptures, and other works depicting Polynesian and Southeast Asian culture. My favorite part of this hotel is the elephant sculptures located in the middle of a courtyard. They spout out water while Buddhist figures surround them. It is a sight to behold.

The rooms will be ultra-luxurious, the restaurants are upscale, and you get the harry potter treatment. Since this is a deluxe resort, you can an additional benefit. For the duration of your stay, you get a free Universal Express pass that lets you skip the regular lines for attractions. This saves time and money since the Express pass is a 129 dollar value!

Loew’s Portofino Bay Hotel

I feel like this hotel is one of the prettiest I have ever seen… like ever! The hotel perfectly mimics the Mediterranean coast in Italy. I will never forget how blown away I was when I first visited. I was convinced that it is a theme park within itself. I was not in Florida anymore.

Universal Orlando and Loews have done such an incredible job at constructing such a masterpiece. They have built an ensemble of bright-colored buildings imitating an Italian Riviera coastal town. In fact, it is named after Portofino, a real Mediterranean city. Indoors are no exception. There are intricate decorations, ornaments, and elements that make you feel like you are touring a medieval palace.

Amenities are top-notch. There are tons of fine dining experiences, a great waterfall pool, and even a spa. The hotel also houses a bunch of ballrooms for parties, conventions, and weddings. I highly recommend getting married here. The Mediterranean scene will instantly invoke a romantic mood. After all, many people do get their dream weddings in Italy. Portofino Bay will provide that without leaving Florida. Get those gorgeous bride and groom pictures in the sunset and you’ll make unforgettable memories.
