I personally have never heard of a friendly bear until I heard of Bear Lake. The beautiful blue water is so big (like its name entails) that it also partially goes into Utah, in addition to Idaho. Not only can you swim in the lake, but the pictures are beyond post worthy.

4. Montana and it’s Mighty Glaciers

Whenever I think of a glacier, my mind goes to the little saber tooth squirrel, Scrat from the movie Ice Age, but I never thought of what is left over when they melt. Montana has a national park dedicated to what is left over. Glacier National Park has a lot photogenic trails that run along the Canadian border. It is a place that should definitely be on your bucket list, because I know it is on mine.

5. North Dakota’s Wild Zoo

Who doesn’t love animals? If you ever find yourself in North Dakota make sure you stop at the Dakota Zoo. They have 125 different types of animals from macaws to bears to lemurs to snow leopards. They have been open since 1961 and is located in Bismarck, North Dakota. I mean, who wouldn’t want to see something as cute as this?

If thrill seeking is your thing, then you should find yourself to Cedar Point, Ohio. You would be missing out if you were not one of the over 3,500,000 million people that visit yearly. The thrill doesn’t stop at roller coasters though. They offer lots of other rides too, including water based ones. Strap in because this is going to be one fun ride!
