1. Champs Sports Bar & Cafe

Champs is a classic sports bar and a Virginia Tech favorite. Located in the heart of Downtown Blacksburg, this laid-back bar is the perfect atmosphere to watch any football game. Although London Underground is known as the local townie bar, you don’t want to skip this sports bar when you go downtown for game day. One of the best ways to celebrate a Hokie win is getting a Car-Bomb at Rivermill. This sports bar typically a short stop on the never-ending bar brawl, but a must. If you are a fan of beer, this bar is the place for you! Rivermill has a huge selection of bars on tap and bottle options. This bar comes with nine TV’s and a great bar to watch the Hokies. Rivermill is a great bar if you don’t feel like waiting in line for an hour.

There are so many reasons that all Hokies love The Cellar. The upstairs is a lively restaurant with tasty Italian, Mediterranean, and Greek food. Arguably the best bar in Blacksburg. TOTS is everyone’s favorite sports bar to end the night after a big win. Be careful, the later in the night you go, the longer the line. Always bring cash to TOTS because they are one of the only bars that have a cover charge. Despite the lines and cover, there are many reasons TOTS is a classic college-town sports bar.

After the game, students flock to the bar to get a ‘Rail,’ the best-known drink, and famous tater-tots. TOTS has a massive outside bar that comes with heated lamps, so you can find people outside all year long.
