The Best High Street Stores When You’re On A Budget

When you are on a budget you may think that you can’t buy anything for yourself or do anything at all. You feel trapped and broke. Here are my top five high street shops, for different shopping needs, that you can spend at and get some great items without breaking the bank!

1. H&M

I love H&M because they have clothing to suit everyone. Whether you want an everyday outfit, something for a special occasion, work wear or even sports wear they definitely meet everyone’s needs. Compared to more pricey shops like Topshop and River Island, you can find the same styles and spend less money. They have also collaborated with the likes of Balmain which makes them one to definitely watch.

2. New Look

New Look is an all time favourite and classic when it comes to clothes shopping. Yes, they are on the pricier side compared to the other stores on this list, however their sale items are bargains no doubt! When there is a sale make sure you check it out because you will pick up amazing pieces for a fraction of the original price.

3. Primark

Ok but unless you live under a rock, you must have seen how amazingly Primark is doing recently. With collaborations with big names and the introduction of their home line Primark is really the place to shop at! The quality of clothing is really great and they always keep up to date with the latest fashion trends. To top it all off their prices are unbeatable, it is no wonder you can find a Primark store in nearly every city in the UK.

4. Superdrug

There is no cheaper place to get your make-up and toiletries than Superdrug! Their offers are always amazing and they sell everything you could possibly want and need. This shop is a dream for those on a budget.

5. WHSmith

With rivalries such as Staples, Waterstones, Paperchase and more, the once beloved WHSmith has some serious competition. It feels as though we have almost forgotten the love we once had for this shop as different and newer shops opened up. However what many people haven’t realised is that WHSmith is still arguably the cheapest. There are so many deals you can make use of for books and stationary. If you are a student don’t ignore the bargains available for you here.
