Healthy foods are needed to promote our body to get the best results from our body for our fitness goals. These are just a few healthy foods that you might want to consider when fueling your body to workout.

Eggs

Eggs are one of the many healthy foods you can eat on a diet. Eggs are good for building muscles and weight loss. When deciding to lose weight, the first thing you have to do is cut down on your calorie intake. The one negative thing about cutting calories is you often feel hungry, which can sometimes cause you to eat more food, either healthy or unhealthy. Even though one large egg has only 78 calories, it can be filling because of a high-protein the food packs. Making this is a food that you should try to incorporate in your meals, especially if you are looking to help your body with building muscles or just trying to lose weight.

Even though the superfood is not sweet like other fruits, avocados provide several nutritional values for your health. Avocados are high in vitamin K, folate, vitamin C, potassium, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, and vitamin B; all these nutrients go into healthy living. Heart health is important now, and more than ever, as heart disease becomes the leading cause of death. Avocados can help with a healthy heart with its fatty acid. It can also lower cholesterol. These are just a few benefits at the superfood provides.

Cucumbers

Cucumbers have several health benefits to promote healthy body goals. Whether your goal is weight loss, lowering blood sugar, regularity, hydration, or adding nutrients; cucumbers can help your body manage these goals according to Rachael Link, MS, RD from Healthline. Cucumbers have only 45 calories and have a great source of vitamin K, vitamin C, magnesium, potassium, and manganese. These nutrients go into a healthy body and lifestyle, especially when added to an exercise management type program. Cucumbers have great hydration benefits. The fruit is made up of 96% water. The fluid from the cucumber helps with the daily water intake for the body to function correctly. So if your goal is to stay hydrated and gain some of your daily vitamins and minerals, you should eat more cucumbers.

Spinach

Spinach is a superfood and is a part of the dark leafy green vegetable category which you have probably heard you should eat regularly. If your goal is to manage diabetes, work on cancer prevention, lower blood pressure, increase bone health, promote regularity, or healthy skin and hair according to Megan Ware, RDN, LD from Medical News Today, this is a portion of food for you. Along with all the above ways, it can improve your health spinach is considered a low-calorie food with only 7 calories for one cup of spinach. It is also a great source of calcium. All of these attributes go into promoting healthy living.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar offers many health benefits to help you meet your health goals. Apple cider vinegar has been known for weight loss benefit, to reduce cholesterol, lower blood sugar, and improve diabetes symptoms according to Kris Gunnars BSC from Healthline.  Kris Gunnars BSC also shared a study that has been done to show how apple cider vinegar can flatten your belly. Personally, I have seen with my mom how it can lower blood pressure. Regardless of the benefits, you are looking for from the vinegar, make sure you dilute the vinegar before you consume it. Consuming apple cider vinegar without dilution should not be done because it is way too acidic for the body and cause more harm than good.

Greek Yogurt

Greek yogurt is a food that supports individuals’ whole body goals. Lana Burgess from Medical News Today has identified that Greek yogurt can improve bone health, reduce appetite and hunger, boost metabolism, improve gut health, promote good mental health, building muscle mass, lowering blood pressure, and reducing type two diabetes risk. All of these benefits come from the nutritional value of calcium, protein, probiotics, iodine, and vitamin B 12. Incorporating greek yogurt will support your healthy lifestyle. Healthy foods such as greek yogurt should be consumed regularly to provide support to the body to help keep you going after intense workouts.

According to Daisy Coyle, APS from Healthline, asparagus is a part of healthy foods that improve digestion, lower blood pressure, and help with weight loss; it also has nutrients such as fiber, folate, vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin K to help support you in your body.

As you can see from these foods its all about what you put into your body that helps get you the best results from your fitness goals. Keep trying to incorporate healthy foods into your diet as often as possible.
