Graduation party decorations have got to be on your to-do list. I mean, graduation season is approaching so you have to figure out the perfect decorations to get your new grad for their upcoming party. What’s a party without decorations? With so many ideas on how to decorate, here are the best graduation party decorations you need at your party.
Now with every party, you have to have desserts. Listen, I don’t make the rules, you just have to. Cupcakes are usually the best to have and what better way to turn plain, boring cupcakes into decorative pieces for the party? Cupcake toppers! There are toppers for just about any dessert known to man. These class of 2019 toppers are a surefire way to spruce up those cupcakes!
At my junior high school graduation party, my mom went to our baker and ordered a ton of cupcakes. I don’t know why she did, maybe it’s because we don’t like cake. I know, weird right? I know you are probably thinking cupcakes are just mini cakes but that’s a debate for another time. Anyways, she put in the order and in the car she screamed, “Oh my God, I forgot to get cake toppers!” She was driving so I immediately went onto Amazon and ordered a whole bunch. We would have gone to a store but it was graduation season so it would have been packed in there and the chance of us finding enough of what we needed was pretty slim. The toppers came the morning of my party and that’s when I heard my mom let out a literal sigh of relief.

Now that you have your cupcakes, where are you going to put them, outside? No! You have to get yourself a decorative cupcake holder stand. It’s only right you get one with a graduate theme. Amazon sells various designs for really low prices. If you are not going all out and getting a million cupcakes, just one stand will do. If you do choose to get one stand, it can serve as a great centerpiece.

Forget boring banners that say “congrats grad.” How monotone and impersonal does that sound? Personalized, sentimental banners say a lot more. What’s a better way to convey how you really feel to your grad and all your party guests?
I remember my high school graduation. It was a surprise party. All my friends and extended family were in the backyard and definitely surprised me when I returned home from going out to eat with my family. We had all of these gorgeous graduation party decorations. I actually had four banners. One was a custom banner that had my kindergarten graduation picture on it. The second one banner had my junior high graduation picture on it. The third custom banner had my high school graduation picture on it. The fourth and final banner had the words, “we love you” sprawled out in big pink, metallic letters.

Big balloons are fun and festive. What’s better are numerical balloons to offset the colorful, yet plain, circular balloons.
During my high school graduation, because my family is so extra but sweet, I had these balloons as well. What can I say four custom banners weren’t enough I guess. My graduation party decorations turned my regular backyard into a beautiful function.
