Mad Rex is a restaurant and a virtual reality lounge with a post-apocalyptic theme. They are located on Frankford Avenue in Fishtown. Their Smoking Gun Shot contains Johnnie Walker Black Scotch, cinnamon, simple syrup orange liquor, a sprig of thyme, and smoke. A mini skull shot glass houses the cocktail.
Mission Taqueria is a Mexican cantina located on Sansom Street in the Rittenhouse Square section of Philadelphia. Their margaritas are pretty beyond what regular margaritas look like, and they’re some of the best cocktails in Philly for that mexi-feel. They come in a variety of flavors, and their frozen margaritas can be made half one flavor and half another.
Art in the Age is a tasting room, home bar supply, and bottle shop located on North 3rd Street in Old City. They have a tasting room on location, where they teach people how to create cocktails, and they post their cocktail recipes on their website. Vic’s Grog, pictured below, is made of one ounce of lemon juice, one ounce of pineapple juice, one ounce of BG Reynolds Passion Fruit Tropical Syrup, two ounces of Dreadnought Rum, and a dash of Angostura Bitters.
The Double Knot is located on S. 13th Street in the Gayborhood section of Philadelphia. Their signature drink, also called the Double Knot, consists of bourbon, bacon, and fire. Who can go wrong with that? The outcome is a cocktail with an almost golden color.
The Franklin Bar is located on S. 18 Street in Center City. They are known for their cocktails. Out Just Like A Candle, pictured below, is made of Pedro Ximenez Sherry, Smith and Cross rum, and Angostura Bitters.
V Street, known for some of the best cocktails in Philly and their vegan take on street food, is located on S. 19th Street in Center City. Their Bora Bora Banter is made with rum, pandan, coconut, and pineapple and is accompanied by a little umbrella.

Friday Saturday Sunday is a bar and new American eatery located on S. 21st Street in Rittenhouse Square. They are known for their signature cocktails and food options. Their Sob Story cocktail is made with Haitian rum, Torino vermouth, Nardini, Batavia Arrack, and coconut rum.
