The Best Brunch Spots In Austin You Have To Try

Austin is known for its different food options and restaurants. It’s a heaven for the food lovers and it offers a big variety of cuisines. The locals and visitors really appreciate a good brunch which can offer an interesting menu, different activities and beautiful environment. There are many spots in Austin which have brunch options, but some of them really stand out and are definitely worth trying! Here are some of my suggestions for good brunch spots in the capital of Texas:

Suerte

This is probably one of the hottest brunch spots in Austin! Suerte is an East Austin food treasure that offers modern Mexican cuisine with local ingredients. On weekends this awesome spot offers dishes which are familiar to the locals and loved by them. Migas and Mexican pastries are just some of the exciting options. The drinks are also a very important part of every brunch, so in order to help you cure your hungover with more of the same poison, Suerte offers their signature bloody Mary made with agave-based raicilla, fresh tomato, citrus, and spicy, fermented chiles.

Holy Roller

This eclectic spot in the heart of downtown Austin will not leave you indifferent to its authentic and unique style. If you are looking for the perfect brunch place where you can find get some traditional hungover food, this is definitely you spot! The menu is full of greasily sinful options which will make you come back for more. Here you can find some crispy fried chicken and an egg served over flaky biscuits, doused in syrup. If by any chance you have some space left for a dessert, they have some phenomenal options for you.

Sway

This mixture of Thai street food (which is my personal favorite) and American breakfast classic, is one of the best brunch options in town. Sway offers a variety of of unexpected combinations and flavors like the fried chicken and waffle which includes Thai herb butter, tamarind and ginger syrup, and other surprises. If you are in the mood, you can combine the dishes with fun drinks like the hibiscus and grapefruit mimosa made with hibiscus tea, fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, and sparkling wine, of course!

Ah Sing Den

This beautifully designed Asian spot in Austin will take you to another era and place, immediately after you enter the door. If you go to the back patio, you would feel the atmosphere of an old street somewhere on the Asian continent. The brunch menu features Chai Tea French toast, fried chicken and waffle, Asian veggie omelet and other surprises. The Thai curry green tea soba noodles in a coconut broth is one of the signature and most popular items on the menu.

La Politique

If you would like to try something more European and classic, you can visit Le Politique. When you are craving an omelet, the one you can try at this French spot is with herbs and will quickly become your favorite. You would also want to try their pastries, like the classic pain au chocolat and the ham & cheese croissant. Their selection of wines and cocktails is also unforgettable!
