Breakups are trash. Similar to when you’re severely hungover on Sunday morning and you utter the words “I’m never drinking again” I always say “I’m never putting myself through this again” when a relationship ends. But, alas, when your friend texts you the next Thursday about plans for the night, you’re probably ready to go out again, and after a grieving process you will be ready to have a relationship again. Because let’s face it, we all want companionship no matter how much we don’t want to admit it or get hurt. There are SO many quality breakup songs that it is difficult to condense this list down, but since I’m the one sharing here not you, I will be vulnerable for all to see and share my go to songs. Don’t judge me. Or do, whatever. Here are my 20 best breakup songs you should probably add to your playlist.
Okay time to do some math, I’m going to approximate that you will grieve for about 90 minutes. I mean straight up crying in your room for a total of 90 minutes. That is all you’re allotted because you are a golden sunflower and no boy is worth more time than that. Plus, mascara is too expensive to waste on a f***boy.
