Athletic wear comes in all shapes and sizes. If you want to look killer while you’re killing it at the gym then you should try finding some of these terrific athletic wear items to wear this fall.

Working out is never going to be fun, you’re never going to want to get up and get ready for your work out, that’s a fact. However, if you want to make the getting ready process more fun, then you should get yourself a pair of colorful leggings. They will brighten up your morning workouts and make you look fabulous while you’re sweating buckets. It’s 2019 and it is time to stop wasting so much plastic, by buying a reusable water bottle you are helping the planet and therefore helping yourself. You can also buy portable water bottles in every color of the rainbow so you can have as many as you want, maybe buy one for each day of the week if you’re feeling fancy.

A Good Pair Of Runners 

For years I was wearing the same pair of runners I had bought when I was 14. In case you are wondering, yeah they were too small. Running in a pair of sneakers that were too small for my feet ruined my workouts and hurt my back. Once I got a good pair of runners it transformed the way I ran and made me a better runner. So invest in yourself and find a pair of runners that support your feet and your back, you’ll thank me when you’re 80 and don’t have back pain.

Comfy Shirt 

Just like leggins your shirt can make your workouts more fun and make you feel great while you work out. When shopping for the perfect shirt to wear for your workouts remember three things, one it should be comfy and feel good on your skin. Two, make sure it is sweat resistant as you will be wearing it while you sweat and three, it should be stylish because you will be wearing it in public. This can also be a great time to find a motivational saying to pump you up for your workouts. If you can’t say it, then you can at least read it. A good test to run on all shirts before buying them is to rub your wrist on the inside of the material, this way you can tell if it will feel itchy on your skin during a run.

Oversized Hoodie 

It might seem odd to have something labelled ‘big’ in this list, but stop and wait a minute for me to explain. Working out is one of the most uncomfortable activities you will have to endure your entire life, other than childbirth. Since it is so awkward feeling, you’re going to want to find comfort wherever you can. If you have to walk to your gym, even if it is just down the stairs in your apartment building, then wrapping yourself in a big hoodie before your work out can make that walk so much easier. The soft material will make you feel like you’re still sleeping in a bed for a moment longer. After your workout, you probably won’t want to wear this immediately, but if the weather changes while you’re in the gym you’ll be happy to have this athletic wear with you.

Socks 

Finding motivation for the gym can be a lot harder than you think, you’ll need to inspire yourself every morning you go to the gym. The best way to get yourself going is by wearing something fun that excites you to get out of bed and head towards the gym in full spirits. What is the most fun you can have with your outfit? Socks! Seems too simple to work, but try it and you’ll never go back to grey and white socks again.
