Summer has come and is already about to go, with the next season upon us. With Fall fast approaching, we all need to kick our photo game up a notch, especially with just how beautiful nature gets around this time of year. With that said, here are the best apps to turn up your photo game in time for the fall!
Snapseed is the first app on our list. It is one of the more popular IOS photo apps. What makes this app so cool is that it works extremely well for both beginners, and advanced photo editors. Using Snapseed will surely make your pictures glow, and look better than never before!
The available filters works flawlessly for photos of people, animals, and nature.
The app is free, convenient, very easy to use, and offers a wide range of editing prowess. There is absolutely no going wrong with getting Snapseed to edit your photos this fall!
Afterlight 2 is another great option when it comes to photo editing. It is an image editing app for both Android and IOS phones. Afterlight 2 has similar functions to most photo editing apps, it allows the user to take a photo or load one from the previously taken photos, and edit afterwards.
The app delves into a more advanced style of photo editing (while remaining simple to use and understand), as it has both the usual texture, contrast, color, and similar tools, as well as allowing for more detailed photo editing (exposure angle, etc).
Just like with Snapseed, Afterlight 2 offers a vast set of filters for you to use with the photo, and it also allows you to download more filters if that is what you prefer.
The app allows you to add graphics to your photos as well, making it easier to post these images straight from your phone without any further editing being required.
Unlike Snapseed, Afterlight 2 is not free, coming it at $2.99. However, the price for all the editing tools and options you get is very worth it, along with the monthly updates, and no further purchase required for usage of the app.
Using VSCO will show you immediate changes when it comes to your photo and filter game. It is a stylish photo sharing and editing app with a focus on the beauty of adding filters to enhance the image.
VSCO is not as advanced as Afterlight 2 when it comes to raw photo editing power, but the filters more than makeup for it. The app allows you to apply filters so seamlessly and quickly that it just feels natural.
If you choose to make a yearly subscription to the app, you get well over 130 available filters. However, you can choose to use the app in its free version, keeping in mind there will be fewer filters available for your use.
Prisma is the last app on our list, but probably the most interesting. The app uses artificial intelligence to turn the photo you upload into a more artistic piece (similar to a painting).
The app is very easy to use, and you can make your regular photos look like they were painted by Leonardo Da Vinci himself.
While this app might not be for everyone, the effects it create are very pleasing, satisfying, and authentic enough for the end result to be considered a great work of art.
The app is completely free, making it even more worthwhile.
